Two Cards For Today :)

Hi Everyone!!!!! I miss crafting so much!!! I haven't even quilted in 3 weeks..But my mom's 60th birthday is March 20th so I rented a hotel room with an Ocean View in Monterey so we are going to quilt till we drop for 2 1/2 days! I better get my list started of what I need! My mom and I are so excited to be together for the whole weekend and that's all we talk about every time we're on the phone together :) ..AND for 2 weeks my hubby has been busting HIS butt making me a Southern Porch and I have been busy watching him :) ..he's so sexy TMI? sorry but yumm he IS (grin) ....Of course I will post a picture when he is all done..(of the porch) ;) I'm so darn excited about that too! lots happening!!! so let me take a minute and say thank you Tim for just being you! (kiss!) ..so on to the cards I made the second card quite a few days ago but hadn't had a minute to post it but I think some of my card class ladies liked it so this will be card #3 for next Friday...and the first card I just finished making..I love the pink and grey combo..I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop...I hope you all have a fantastic day!!!

Pink Owl's Are So SWEET!

Hi Everyone!!!! I'm TIRED!!!! yes I am LOL!!! I have been baking since Wed non stop! my fundraiser has been going awesome..I am halfway there!! whoo hoo! I have to give a big shout out to my wonderful GENEROUS friends! they have bought from me all my sweet treats and have given me "tips" yep I have such cool friends :) thank you so much!!! I am grateful and really I can't say it enough..wow truly amazing! so after I was done baking for today I ran into my craft room and had a relaxing time coming up with card #2 for my CC in March..I hope they like it..Of course they will have the option of changing the sentiment ..I just bought this Aviary set #120462 and LOOK an OWL! love it!!! I should have bought this set eons ago! hello! cuteness! ..the colors I used are Primrose Petals, Rose Red and Pretty In Pink! and just for my friend we will be using Coffee Filter Flowers ;) ....have an awesome night! is it bad to want to go to bed at 4:45 :) :) ..I really wish I could LOL!!!

A Message For My One True Love :)

Hi Everyone!!!! I ditched ya again! haha! but I'm on a mission!!!! wanna know what my mission is? yes! you say! OKkkk...I'm trying to go to the Stampin up convention this year, so I am trying to sell everything possible :) ..my quilts included :) so I'm trying to get my quilts binded today for my garage sale on Sunday :)...and since I'm home alone tonight. My kids ditched me and my darling husband had to work today...and it's my anniversary!!!! so poop! ...so instead I am blogging my Friday Funny pictures and a picture of me and the hubby..Don't you just love the photo-bomb of Eewok!!!!!!! ...OK so this is probably where you want to stop reading if you don't like mushy stuff ;) ..it's a message for my hubby...so here goes...
Tim, words can't begin to describe how I feel about you but I will try....I have loved you from the first time I met you and as the years have gone by I have come to be even more IN love with you..I never want to be without you. I have so much fun with you and I absolutely love talking to you...I know we have had some tough times, mainly because I'm a control freak and never feel I'm wrong ;) ...but even after putting up with so much of my poop you still love ME and you never go without telling me how much you love me and only you would encourage me to buy whatever my heart desires and offer to hold the packages..Only you would hear my complaining that we can't afford something I really wanted and say hey I can get another job (that would be job #3)....at the same time telling me ... "What is it you want, Mandy? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down" .....and mean it :) :) ..I know that you give yourself constantly to me and never really complain but I promise to be better..I'm not supposed to get worse every year but better for you, because YOU deserve it and there's no need for any less for me to give to you...I've never been treated like a Princess by you..hell no! I've always been treated like a QUEEN!!! and I know it and I am so very grateful!!! not many girls find guys like you..I believe your one in a million!!!! how I got so lucky I have know idea!!!! As we get older together I can't say I love you enough or hold you enough but bye GOLLY I sure as heck am going to try!!!! I love you baby so much!!! I can't wait to look up into your eyes and tell you this in person and walk with you hand in hand ...thank you for always being there for me!!! I'll LOVE YOU FOREVER! Happy Anniversary!!!!!!

It's all different too haha...but this card I like a lot! :) ...I used the sketch from Mojo Monday...the DSP is from the Mini..Print Poetry #129312..and the Designer Builder Brads #129329...I will tell ya just like Chocolate life is better with at least one butterfly in it..it's my new accessory and has to be on every card (apparently) ;) ...Beautiful Wings #118138..I finally was able to use my Dahlias #127556 that's whats on top of the designer builder brad ...I hope you have a fantastic day!

Fashionably Late :)

Hi Everyone!! I love Mojo Monday sketches :) ...so it's an awesome day here in Hollister CA....so when I saw this DSP in my new "stash" called Sunshine & Sprinkles #126922  I knew I wanted to get all matchy matchy :) ...and after I was done I thought hey I wonder if my card class would like to make this one on Friday and so I made a decision for them and the answer is yes they're going to make this one and like it teehee! I love the colors! and I also loved making all my cards for card class using an embossing folder for each one! my absolutely new favorite SU product!... I bought the All Dressed Up Bundle #131095..so my class will be working that's for sure haha! the ribbon is Striped Organdy Ribbon Old Olive #129291 .....teehee I HAD to use the new butterfly punch Bitty Butterfly  #129406 ..the Flower is from the new Flower Trim Vanilla #126869...I think that's it :) ..have a great day!!!!

Feb Card Class #3 ..Amazing :)

Hi Everyone!!! OK so I was exhausted when I came home from my sew day yesterday..I'm getting so old that when I have a busy day I fall asleep at 8:00! so I'm sorry but I have my Friday Funny today LOL! ....the triplets are so awesome that I have about 5,000 pictures of them (no joke) teehee...the bottom picture is to funny! because Kat is crazy to be next to Rocks butt!!! but I assure you that this sleeping position only lasted about 5 minutes because by then Kat realized that it wasn't a smart move at ALL! haha...LOVE THEM! :) the second picture is typical of Kat always sleeping on Bones face or head..what a brat! :) and the picture of Rocks with his dad that makes me smile because they both adore each other :)... OK OK the card ...I love the Chevron embossing die #127749..I always try to use it for class..the stamps are Need For Speed #122717 and the sentiment is Amazing Family #129192..the tags are from the Framelits Dies, Hearts A Flutter #130159...DSP Parker's Patterns #131021 ..the last 3 are from the new mini! Swallowtail :)

Hi Everyone!!!!! I LOVE this new butterfly stamp from SU called Swallowtail #129216 ...it's absolutely gorgeous! I just wanted to get a feel for it today so I made this simple card ..I cut out the image and added dimensionals to the middle popped up the wings and wow what a difference, so cool! I also used my new embossing folder called Fancy Fan #127751...I wanted something fun in the inside so because I just wanted to play I thought it was a fitting sentiment :) ...well I have a whole new mess of product to put away so I guess I'll be rearranging and getting rid of more stuff ..O boy! so I hope you have a fantastic day! I have some cute Friday Funny pictures to show you tomorrow but first I will be sewing with friends so it will be later in the afternoon before I post :) ...

Tissue Paper Fun :)

Hi Everyone!!!!! I had so much fun using the Mojo Monday sketch!!! this card will be number 2 for my Card Class in two weeks. I wanted something bright but some dark added and I love this color combo, Poppy Parade, Soft Suede and Pool Party...the strip of DSP is Everyday Enchantment ...I also wanted to use tissue paper that I had left over from my daughter's birthday paper..so the flower and butterfly are fragile but I like it...the brads in the middle are the only things not SU and the brad in the flower is a blue but it looks white in this picture..I don't know why my Ipad doesn't take better pictures, maybe it is operator error but still :) .....I hope you have a fantastic day!
