Hi Everyone! Sorry I'm late...I had a dentist appt and it took so long..sheesh... but here ya go...Don't you love my title of this post LOL! my family loved my card but there like umm the bird is so dark...so I told them it's a brown bird get off my back already hehehe OK so the reason he's so dark is because the marker I used said light brown well not when you put it onto white paper..they lied..yep markers fault..This is sketch 6 from The Greeting Farm...and I'm all caught up with the challenges so come back each and every day because I will have a card everyday LOL! all the DP and embellishments are from CTMH with the Ric rack from my "stash"...I hope you like :)...this one was fun. ...

Team Edward! Day 5

Hi Everyone!!!! well today is Day 5 of The Greeting Farm 12 Days Of Christmas sketches...I'm still having fun with them :)...Tim has been laughing because I'm like O! I like that sketch! and the next day same thing..hehe...so I wanted to make a boy card and this is what I came up with. A team Edward card LOL!...His name is actually Edward...just click on the blue link I gave you right on top and it will take you to TGF"s blog and from there look on the right and it will say SHOP just click on that and you will be hooked from your first one :)....The price is going up so run don't walk to purchase some...I finally was able to use my new Basic Grey DP this one is called Archaic.. I printed out the sentiment...The black snaps that are surrounding him are from my "stash"....the buttons are from Making Memories.. Flying Away... Day 4

Hi Everyone!!! well I have decided after all morning taking pictures that I need to watch a few YouTube videos on how to use this light box correctly :)....you would think its just put lights on the side and line up the picture and snap..but...it's not working LOL! o boy....so bear with me..I'll figure it out...perseverance is my new middle name on EVERYTHING.....
So today's card is Day 4 of 12 days of challenge sketches at The Greeting Farm and I have caught up with all of them and can't wait for tomorrow's sketch...I have been having so much fun creating and don't want to stop....All the DP is from CTMH and I have been a layers girl for all these sketches..So the solid cardstock, ribbon,all the bright pink embellishments are all from CTMH and the tiny pink gems are from Taylored Expressions...the pretty :) metal butterfly is from my "stash"..............I hope you enjoy :)

A Mermaid... Day 3

Hi Everyone!!! I hope everyone had a good weekend.... Well I took two pictures today with my light box and would like for you to tell me which one you like better :)...1st picture is just with side lights..2ND picture is with side lights and my flash on my camera....I don't know what to choose LOL! I like both haha..but won't crowd my blog with double pictures....
OK on to the card..this is Day3 with TGF and I had so much fun last night that I'm up to challenge # 6 ............All the DP is from an old paper pack from Creative Memories back when it wasn't a true 12x12 paper but I loved the colors so much and found it last night and new I had to use it....The solid cardstock is from CTMH called Sweet Pea..it matched perfectly ....The flowers are from Prima and if you click on the picture you will see a seahorse in the middle of the flowers and that's a starfish on the corner LOL! ...the pearls in her hair are from my "stash" and those are pretty pretty dew drops on top of the CTMH ribbon.........that's it :)

Fluttering by! Day 2

Hi Everyone!!! I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas!!!!!!! I did!!!! and the biggest surprise Tim got me was a LIGHT BOX FOR MY CARDS!!!!!! whoo hoo! my jaw dropped when I opened it, it was so cool! what a thoughtful husband I have......OK so I tried it out with this card I was finally able to make last night :)...I have a lot of playing to do...I have to make it perfect hehe.....so what do you think so far? to dark? not enough detail? tell me please :) and I have 5 different backgrounds to choose from....whoo hoo! so awesome! I love my hubby....so what did you get that was a surprise or just the best gift????
OK on to the card this is the second day challenge from The Greeting Farm..I'm 5 challenges behind LOL! but I have to start somewhere to get back into my blog :).... This is fluttering Anya...all the DP is from CTMH and the solid cardstock is from DCWV........on Anya's wings I used pink liquid applique...I've been having so much fun with this stuff....The buttons are also from CTMH.....the sentiment is from my "stash" and the sticker butterfly is from Stickopotamus....... TGF! sketch challenge Day 1

Hi Everyone!!! OMGOSH!! I'm sneaking in my office to post this card....hehe shhhhhhh!!!!
I'm supposed to be cooking and baking because tonight is our Schneider family Christmas party here at my house....so all 16 of us will be eating real good for dinner..LOL!...When I saw this challenge on The Greeting Farm the 12 days of Christmas challenge I knew I had to play...so this is my first day entry....I actually paper pieced her entire outfit yay!!!! and I also used liquid applique for her hat....The DP is from DCWV (The Christmas Stack)......The sentiment is something I printed out....The cute Santa brad is from my "stash"....this card seemed a little plain but I was looking at it and I decided to ask for opinions from Tim and Chiy and they both said Your Crafting!?!?!? hehehe I always wait till the last minute to get things ready for what I need to do before a party at our house so they worried because I always end up staying up real late trying to finish up stuff... :) but I couldn't resist...so yep I crafted then left my office and went to bed at 1:30am....Well I have to run!!! :) Hope you like it ..

Hi!!!!! back from Disneyland

Hi Everyone! well it's been crazy and I miss crafting..I haven't even been in my craft room for two weeks and it's driving me crazy.....and to top it all off I got another rejection notice for a DT position a few days before we left, so that was a big bummer :(.......... but I have decided to kick off the New Year with a better attitude and try, try, try, try and try again! so I will be buying new Copics and Prismacolor markers and try to play more with other colors..I will also try to make my cards a little better......so let's see what I can do :)
I will hopefully be able to play tonight and hopefully will have a card to post tomorrow morning....Does it seem to you that it's only 4 days till Christmas?? sheesh

I hope you all had an awesome weekend...can you believe 11 days till Christmas?? wow! how time flies...well Saturday was awesome!!!!! and we all laughed an had a great time! and then yesterday we finally went out and got our Christmas tree..we are so late this year :(....we actually got a fairly small one because it is only a few days till Christmas and we are leaving for 3 days to Disneyland...We love it there this time of year..can't wait to eat a gingerbread cookie..yummmm..hehe.

Birthday Party Today

Hi Everyone!!! OK so this week has been another whirlwind and I'm sorry for leaving you again! :( I do have a card to show you tomorrow..I don't have enough time today to take a picture download, watermark and upload..hehe.... so since Wednesday I have been shopping like mad for Christmas and getting all the stuff I need for Chiy's games. We are having her birthday party today and we are going to play "Ellen's" games LOL! I love watching Ellen..so we will be playing Awww snap, ball twister, blind musical chairs, broom game and I rented Sumo suits...LOL!!!! If you want to know what I'm talking about just type into YouTube the titles I gave you and you will be able to see it...Hilarious! so I can't wait but O boy!!! :) .........and to top it all off were off to Disneyland Fri, Sat and Sun..and of course I need new tires and a wheel alignment so it will be another busy week next week...so I hoping to do auto post while I'm gone..sheesh.. crazy!!!!!!!!! don't forget about the blog candy.. :) I think the announcement is two posts down from this one....anyways. have a great Saturday!!!!

Pink Frosting!

Hi Everyone!!! tonight's the night! the Finale of BL...I hope Amanda wins..I've never liked Rudy or Liz and Danny's OK...LOL!!!
Well today's card features an image from Sugar Nellie (again) with the Miss Claus :) but I really really like her and I really wanted to play in The Sugar Bowl this time around and you have to use a Sugar Nellie stamp for that....I hope they like it :) ...The DP is a mixture of two DP's..first one is from My Mind's Eye (Winter Wonderland) and the second is from Me &My Big Ideas (Oh What Fun).... The solid cardstocks are from CTMH....For Miss Claus I used cotton candy stickles for her clothes and around the circle I used Fun Flock..I really wanted to just add fun so it's not straight around on purpose LOL!!! (I Promise) :)...My friend says it looks like pink frosting.... I really wanted a pink Christmas card...I think I achieved that effect..hehe...

Strawberry Daiquiri... :)

Hi Everyone!!! guess what today is???? It's FOOTBALL day!!!!! yay!!! So I have 10 Min's to get my post in for today......before the first game starts...Go SAINTS!!!!!!!...........OK OK ...to the card... This is a Mojo Monday sketch but it's from a few weeks ago but I loved it and new I would use it in the future.....can you guess who this sexy image is from?..........Sassy Studio Designs...she still has the new releases for a bundle price...don't miss out because you get so many for $12.00......I made my card into an over 21 girl..I love strawberry daiquiri's.. there actually the only thing I really like and Tim makes them the best for me..He always adds whipped cream for me too ;)... ..I used liquid applique to get the effect of whipped cream on top..... I used DP that was in my "stash" but it's real glittery, pretty and all around girly....For the straw I used my white gel pen to color in....the ribbon is from CTMH and the strawberry image is from WOJ..the card base and solid dark pink cardstock are from SU.....I hope you have a relaxing Sunday and I hope you like the card...... :) :)

Hi Everyone!!!! OK this is the card that Tim told me "wow" ...he really thought I did an awesome job..hehehe...What do you think?? Like it?...I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop
What a fun sketch!... All the DP is from SU (Bella Rose).. The solid base and cardstock are also from SU..With the solid pink I used my white galaxy marker on all the edges, to make it pop more :)...The flower is from CTMH and the very pretty glittery button was from my pretty PJ's my hubby bought for me and you know how they always give you a extra button..well after seeing it I sure as heck wouldn't use it to stick back on the PJ's LOL! I'm almost considering replacing the buttons on the jammies so I can have more of them ;)..The white inside the button is waxy flax..The sentiment is from Michael's dollar spot.....The brad/buttons are from my "stash"...O and of course everyone recognizes the image from The Greeting Farm Twinkle Tot Collection right?? Snowflakes Are A Fallin!

Hi Everyone!!! OK I finally made it back home from grocery shopping and I"m trying to hurry and post before I have to leave again...so short and sweet it is today.... Today's sketch is brought to you by the Fresh Batch Weekly Challenge When I first saw this sketch I knew immediately how I wanted to create my card.. I had this DP already done for me from Me &My Big Ideas..I also punched out the snowflakes from the same DP added the circles onto circle tags :)... The silver cording is from SU..The image is a Sugar Nellie image I already used but I love her and wanted to use her again..so there you go hehe...I colored her and I cut her out. I pop dotted her onto the DP ...really simple card but I think she's cute... So come back tomorrow I have a card I made that made my Hubby Say "WOW" so I'm pretty stinkin proud of myself..LOL!!! The card base and mats are from CTMH...I distressed the edges of all the paper. The poinsettia flower is from Making Memories. The sentiment is from TGF and if you click on the picture you will see I added little gold pearls from Recollections in the poinsettia on her hat. 6x6 Easel Christmas Card

Hi Everyone!!!! See I told Ya I would be back :) and I was on a roll yesterday and made 4 cards for the week and I'll be back playing some more tonight..I am very happy on how my cards came out and I hope you'll like them too.....
OK some exciting news this morning. Taylored Expressions newsletter came out this morning and while I was reading it I became more and more excited. They have CHA open to the public on Jan 23rd - 24Th in Anaheim! right across the street from Disneyland! which we have season passes for. I immediately called Tim and told him... he said sure buy tickets I'll go with you and the kids can go to D-Land! whoo hoo! I love this man. He has gone to a scrapbooking convention with me before because he doesn't like me having to go by myself. So he listens to his I-Pod and holds ALL my packages and tries not to let his eyes bug out when my total gets rung up..LOL!

OK to the card. I used a sketch from Magnolia but can't enter it because I didn't use there stamps but I really like how it turned out with Charlotte from WOJ. I'm Back For Sure!!! Thank You!!!

Hi Everyone!!! OK I'm back for sure and I'm finally feeling good again..In fact I'm going back to exercising and eating correctly starting tomorrow....Gosh this month and a half stunk to high heaven so I'm glad it's all good again....How was every one's Thanksgiving? Mine was a lot of fun and I'm glad everyone came here. I have to show you pictures of my remodeled 3rd bathroom and dining room Tim did for me for my birthday and he did it all with working full time with overtime, Nana dying and me being real sick. He did it all in a two week time frame too. I couldn't very well craft while he was staying up till one in the morning busting his butt to get it done for Thanksgiving..so that's why else I haven't been around....He did such an awesome job! I love that man ;) ...OK to the card..this is me playing around. I wanted to use blue (can you tell) hehe.all the DP came from DCWV Christmas stack..the card base, ribbon, brad and snowflake embelly are all from CTMH...The image is from the TGF. I used my white gel pen from SU on his hair and on his hat and clothes a white Galaxy Marker. To adhere the ribbon down I used my liquid glue but it left a greasy mark which it has never done before, so I'm not happy with that, so please ignore :)...well that's it....THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! for sticking with me..I will be back (in my best Arnold voice) tomorrow morning..so have a great Sunday!

Blog Candy Blog Candy!!!

Hi Everyone!!! Omgosh!! did you guys see that I was featured on Sassy Studio Designs yesterday!!! O that was the highlight of the year for my card making!!! I know I told you that I was done with trying out for a DT position but she did a shout out and this will be it for me..I'm going to try again and I will be crossing my fingers real hard ..gosh I don't want another rejection so this is hard for me LOL! o boy! I need to step up my game...well because of everything happening lately...me getting real sick and our Nana dying things have been a little crazy :) I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for your kind words and your support by staying my follower...it means so much to me and you will always be special to me...so with that being said I have been cutting paper like a mad woman..... I like a lot of you ;) am a paper junkie and I like to share that most of all..so I hope you can see in the picture how much your getting..I did throw in a couple of images and some card bases that matches some of the CTMH paper because in this stack your getting all the new Christmas paper from My Mind's Eye, Me & My Big Idea and a lot of other DP from different companies...I hope you would like this :)...this is what you will have to do..on this post you have till Tuesday night. Leave me a funny story to read, I would love to have some light in my life right now and thought that would be fun...So thank you for playing and I wish you luck if you should play :)

Here's My funny story (IMO) hehe..last week it was late at night Tim was working so it was just me and the kids, well I was coloring a image and thought I'm going to try to use some colored pencils, so I went to Cordell's room grabbed some pencils and of course there dull and need to be sharpened, so I asked him for a sharpener he said he doesn't have one. I went to Chiy asked her for a sharpener she said she doesn't have one. Sheesh! so I went searching the rest of the house...nada! o boy! I'm frustrated by this time because in this whole house we have no pencil sharpener you have got to be kidding right, nope...so I went into the garage and thought what the heck I'll look on Tim's work bench aka the man table..hehe and low and behold I found a pencil sharpener in his tool box. I started to giggle as I brought out this very pink bear sharpener from his tool box. I got such a kick out of it that I new I would share..LOL! I even took a picture of it ;) so I hope you get a chuckle out of the image of this bear in a big mans tool box...Now it's your turn...remember I will draw a name on Tuesday night.....have fun everyone!

I sure do appreciate it.....well with a very heavy heart I will tell you that we lost are Grandmother this morning, she was tired and wanted to be with her Hubby. Tim and I were there with her for her final breath and that was the saddest thing I've ever had to do but I'm glad we were there with her and that she is no longer in any pain...........

I Love Coffee!!!

Hi Everyone!!! I made a card and I like it so much..what do you think? I went shopping yesterday and I bought a Big Shot from Costco..I finally broke down and bought one..I don't need it but shoot I want it..story of our lives as crafters hehe ....and I placed a SU order :) and I went to Michael's and bought the new My Mind's Eye (OK new to me) DP called Wonderful Winter and I bought the 12x12 size so I could share for blog candy on Sunday and I will tell you I will be buying more of the new Christmas paper this week so I will have even more to share...OK because I feel so worn down and had a set back instead of eating I shopped did it make me feel better HELL YA! it did LOL!!!!! so last night I played with the new DP that I have been wanting forever but couldn't find it anywhere and then it's at Michael's and Yippee that paper is mine..The card base and big pink flower are from CTMH and the white brads are from my "stash" I just put stickles on for the glitter effect....The image is from Sassy Studio Designs ...O and the green colored cardstock is from SU and the pink is from CTMH..the sentiment is from K&Company that I have had in my "stash" forever.....The sketch is from The Sweet Stop...

Hi Everyone!!! I got to play last night and it was so fun! so I really hope you like :)...This is a sketch from TGF.. I don't get to enter it because I was supposed to use a specific artist image but I really wanted to try and make a boy card... This image is Max from the TT collection from TGF.... The card base and solid green cardstock are from CTMH..all the DP is from Basic Grey (O Baby) ...This is what I figure my signature LOL! are dew drops so I decided to use my comfort and added a LOT of them..hehe... I also used CTMH ribbon..I wrapped it around the DP and tied a knot on the left hand side and a bow on the right.. I also used my nesties...Max is cut out and pop dotted in the middle....I'm hoping to be able to play again tonight...But O boy my Colts are playing against the Patriots so I'm so excited that I hope I have enough energy after the game to play..LOL!

Hi Everyone!!! OK let me tell you I'm so sorry for being MIA lately..I'll tell you what happened..well I'm sure some of you remember what happened to our Nana 3 weeks ago..she fell down and broke her leg so she was sick and is still in the hospital. She's doing good but that was the start of what's been happening. About the same time that happened Tim was in our yard doing some yard work and I decided to be nice and help..silly me..Let me tell you first though that I am not a yard work kinda gal..we have a gardener it's that bad.. I run from tree to tree hiding from the sun and instructing my hubby, it's my M.O. LOL! ...so here I am about 3 weeks ago helping Tim gather rocks from underneath fruit trees and next thing I know in the last 3 weeks I have fallen apart.. I am so tired I could sleep standing up..It's more like exhausted every single day and I started getting migraines every single day from a pain scale 1 to 10 10 being the worst mine are 8 everyday thennn LOL! My body was so tired I could barely lift anything..WELL I finally said something to my doctor but it's kinda funny (still) my doctor is also my hair removal guy..so I'm getting my armpits done (really really painful by the way) and I start telling him, doc my thyroid pills aren't working, there doing the complete opposite and I just don't feel good..so he starts thinking and he says well it could be a couple of things one being a tumor in your head and another being lupus ...great..sheesh...so I get sent to the hospital and have a head ct scan ..see a neuroligist negative results well in the meantime doc sent me to get some blood tests well 11 vials in one sha bang was fun (not)..hehe...so then finally I get the call that says I have Lyme Disease..a stupid TICK! bit me! O boy! SEE!!! I told Tim! that's what I get for being nice! I'm going to continue to stay in my craft room and eat my snickers bar while watching you do yard work from now on! that's what I told him!......... the sad part is the I didn't get to bite back or squish the bug!..so needless to say I have been missing creating and posting and can't wait to get back into it..so my mission today is to make something really cute..I don't want to lose anymore followers because I treaure every single one of you...thank you for pushing that button to keep an eye on my creations...so hopefully I can get rid of this stupid disease.. I did tell Tim that at least it's not a STD ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!..........he has a really good eye roll.... So thank you for the people that have stuck with me (((hugs))) I will be back tomorrow!!!

Easel Card...

Hi Everyone!!! wow talk about screwing me up these last few days because the kids were off of school yesterday it felt more like a Saturday. So this morning I'm dropping them off at school and run home I get onto the computer. I'm looking at Mojo Monday and thinking hmmm they haven't changed it yet..Yep well I'll blame the fact that I haven't had my 520z of bliss yet (Coffee) ....so it's Thursday and I finished up this card this morning so I can show you something..well I jumped on the easel card band wagon and I will tell you now, I'm not done playing with these..They are so much fun!!!! I used the directions from Sassy Studio Designs ... I will be putting some of these around the tables at Thanksgiving because all my family and Tim's will be here at my house...so I will decorate with Sass..hehe..the image is also from Sassy Studio Designs.. I love her designs so much...All the products are from CTMH the DP is called Free Spirit..I printed out the sentiment since I couldn't find a stamp that said Happy Thanksgiving...
This card breaks down into a 4x4 card but I am going to work on a 6x6 today ..I'm looking at these and thinking there is so much you can do with these...so cool!!! I can't wait to play! I hope you' will run over to her blog and check out her directions and play...I think I'm all over the place again with my descriptions if I am I'm sorry..hehe.. I don't know what's been happening lately :)

Pretty Pretty Princess!

Hi Everyone!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend .. :) today's card features a sketch from Sketch Saturday and a image from The Greeting Farm this is Princess Ava from the Twinkle Tots collection...I absolutely love her! I don't think the picture shows you that I used vellum as my layers. I really wanted the DP to stand out since it's wonderful DP from EK Success Disney Princess collection but it is there in the middle just like the sketch shows and on the sides it has the border punch. The flowers are from Prima and CTMH combined :) the buttons are from my "stash".. The ribbon is from CTMH. I used my pink souffle pen on her shoes, sleeves and the middle of her dress..I hope you like it..have a great week..

O So Purple

Hi Everyone! talk about a crazy day yesterday left the house at 8:30am and didn't come home till 10:00pm..So much to do. One of the things my family and I did was go to a renewing of vows. I made this card for the couple. Thank goodness my friend Tammy gave me so many of these images from TGF. I really need to buy something different because I never really thought on how many anniversary cards I need to make. Something funny about this card, the last time I saw the bride she had red hair and while she was walking down the aisle yesterday she had brownish blond hair, talk about feeling kinda stupid LOL! so I'm sure she's looking at it going umm hmmm red hair? LOL! O well..OK so the card base is from CTMH. The DP is from SU and the solid cardstock is from DCWV... the metal sentiments and ribbon are from my "stash"..whoops so is the flower....I hope you like it :) I hope she likes it too..even with the weird hair..hehe..it's football day so have fun..

Want An Apple?

Hi Everyone!!! I must say I have been having the hardest time creating this week. So please bear with me.. Today's card features an image from The Greeting Farm. This is the new creation from TGF. They're called Twinkle Tots. I had to buy all 5 of them! gosh I love TGF! This is Lottie :) I have had this DP forever it's from DCWV The Fall Stack. The card base is from CTMH. I used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches ..this is my first time playing with them and I love what I have seen...so I will be playing more often with them :) Underneath the apple buttons on the bottom are actually regular buttons from CTMH that I just added the apples on top :)...I also wrapped brown waxy flax around the solid cardstock. The metal sentiment is something from my "stash" another QVC product that I had to have and never used (till now)..hehe...sorry if I'm all over the place with my description today. I have to really hurry because Chiy left her project here at the house and I have to run back into town and drop it off..darn child! LOL! she's cutting into my Me time..hehe ...so I hope you enjoy..O and before I forget the sentiment and image are all pop dotted to add dimension..OK gotta go! Have a great Friday!!!
