A Card For Card Class...Maybe :)

Hi Everyone!!! I just got done making this card and I think it might be card #1 for CC in April but IDK what do you think? like it? or no? :) it won't hurt my feelings if you don't ...I wanted a touch of elegance with a hint of color and since Melon Mambo is one of my favorite colors that SU has I had to use it ..I was also able to use my new bird stamp called Young Vermillion #124092 and my new DSP called Mocha Morning #122366 this is part of the Specialty DSP line..The flower is the only thing not SU..I think that's it..have an awesome weekend!!! I will see ya all Monday because I have a date with my boys tomorrow and won't be home..

Long Week But Rocks Loves Peanut Butter

Hi Everyone!!! O Boy it's been a long week!!!!! I will be the first to shout thank god it's Friday!! It's supposed to rain tomorrow yay! Cordell and I will be doing nothing!! (Tim works) ..OK I will be crafting because when I have crazy weeks I always miss my room :) ..I will for sure see ya tomorrow.. Tim loves giving the dogs almost empty containers of peanut butter :) I have so many pictures of all of our dogs tongues in the jars LOL! they love it! Rocks has a long tongue so it's funny to watch him dig into the PB ..have a great night! I will be headed to my first Bunco (is it game? night?) hmm IDK what to call it but I will be playing with a couple of friends..thank you again for the invite Laura..

Recycled Bird Seed Tote Bag

Hi Everyone!!! OK so I love all kinds of crafts, well I'm part of a quilt guild and every month there is a lady who shows up with these awesome recycled dog food bags..she puts her quilts in them and I'm always in awe of them and I asked her if she would teach a class, she said eventually and I left it at that but just a few days ago I have a empty bird seed and dog food bag and I thought ..HELLO! I'm a crafter why not try to see what the almighty Google shows you, so after looking at a few pictures I thought I'll just try it now and Waa Laa! I winged it and this is what I came up with! I am so surprised by what I made that I keep looking at it LOL! ..I will be making these for my mom, shes obsessive about taking her bags to the grocery store and what's better then these heavy duty bags..I can't wait to show her...I'm thinking of making my next bag a picture Tutorial post but I'm not sure if there's any interest...I will think about it :) anyways I had so much fun making this and can't wait to do another..Have a awesome day!

A Sunflower With Seeds :)

Hi Everyone!!! Well I had this card in my head since I first saw that it was Free in the Sale A Bration catalog..I knew that I wanted to use the base for something other then the kit they give you..I want you to always think outside the box :) ..you still have time to get this set for Free with every $50.00 you spend..the stamp can help you get there :) ..it's Sunflower #123606..we will be using this stamp and technique for card class but not necessarily this card ..I had this moss in my craft closet for years! and now I get to use it! love that! ..the Thank You set is from Thank You Kindly #111700 and the card base is from the Simply Sent #122377..the pearls are #119247...have a awesome day! O! and 21 Jump Street is AWESOME!!! loved the movie! but be warned if you don't like the MF-Bomb then this movie isn't for you but wow it's super funny!

Something Different For Friday Funny

Hi Everyone!! it's been an interesting week and it's still not over ..My poor baby Rocks is at the vet for the day getting a "tune up" :) .. He's getting his ears cleared, his butt cleaned out, a lump off the back of his neck removed :) I am so worried about him..this sucks! I'm so stressed out, so I am going to drown my worries in Nachos at the movie theater.. 21 Jump Street is calling my name..I absolutely loved that show when I was younger :) ..today because I'm so worried about my baby I decided to show you some of my "pins" from Pinterest (love that site BTW) :).. Ice Cream Cone

Hi Everyone!!! I wanted to make a card today that was fun and easy :) and this is what I came up with..The stamp set is Mouthwatering #125677 and the sentiment set is Happiest Birthday Wishes #122617 ..I also used Pleated Satin Ribbon (Blushing Bride) #125570..the red glitter brad for the cherry on top is Glimmer Brights #121006 and of course I used my paper piercer set (Mat Set) #105826 ..the pretty cardstock is Pool Party #122924 and last is the DSP Sweet Shop #125408..I love this DSP and color combo, it makes me smile and want some ice cream (OK I always want junk food) I don't need paper to help me with that ;) ..if you would like to order any of these items click on my website on the top right hand corner..I would also check out the Clearance Rack that is only available on my website..lots of good stuff for cheap :) ...O I also cut out the ice cream top and pop dotted it so that it has a fun factor to it :) ...The flower is not SU and I'm sorry about that but I love paper flowers.

Making A Quilt Into A Curtain :)

Well my hubby just got done installing my curtain rod and I had to show you the final results before tomorrow :) my quilt is not bound yet but since it takes forever to bind I left it alone for now LOL! so this week sometime my hubby is going to install can lights for me..so my room is supposed to be as bright as a showroom floor! Hi Everyone!!! well I have a lot of photos today :) ..the top one is how adorable Rocks looks when we are waiting for dad and he has to sit in the back seat...second photo is him this morning waiting for the morning class to leave so he can go to bed..and the easel card is card #4 ..AND the "bomb" is a chocolate cake with mousse and ganache..it might be a messy mess by the time the night class gets here but hey if they don't want it I have two boys that can't wait to dig into it :) ...Have an awesome weekend!!!

Easter Table Runner

Template Wall :)

Hi Everyone!!! well I'm going to keep card #4 a secret till my morning class is over. I can't give away everything this month now can I :) ..so instead I'm going to show you what my sexy, wonderful husband made for me :) ..he built me a template holder ..he made it from two pieces of wood and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! He's not done he needs to fill in the holes but I couldn't wait to show you! I can't wait to get into my sewing room and use it! it's so exciting I love you Timothy ..THANK YOU! for everything you do for me!!!!!! Now my goal is to figure out how to use 90% of those templates LOL! For A Guy ;)

Hi Everyone!!! well this is #3 for card class on Friday...it's for a guy :) and it was made using the shaving cream technique..so much fun! and added bonus my room smells good!! it's a little bit more of a simple card because the technique takes a little bit of time to do but I can't wait to see what we all can come up with using whatever re-inkers they would like to use for there cards :)..everything is SU :)..I had a lot of requests for birthday cards that's why I have two ..one male and one female so far :) ..now I need to go work on card #4 so see ya tomorrow ..have an awesome day..BL is on tonight and can I just say..these people are so IMMATURE! especially anaConda! I did with my hubby and son..we had a Marvel marathon LOVE MARVEL I think I already told you that but hey your the only people that listen/read :) ...What's your favorite Marvel movie? mine is Captain America ... Another Raincoat Rocks

Hi Everyone!!! it's been a tiring week but it's over! so now this weekend I can play! Tim will be fixing my brakes on my motorcycle so that I can ride again..gas prices suck when all you own is a SUV ..so time to ride again :) ...I need to make 3 more cards for card class next Friday..so yay come on mojo I need you! Monsters For Mom

Hi Everyone!!! OK I promise to show you a card tomorrow!! I tell ya I have been obsessed with quilting..I made this for my mom, it's her birthday on the 20TH. We Love Marvel :)

Hi Everyone!!!! I am so late! sheesh I had another appointment with my tattooist and barely got home..so here's my Friday Funny ..I love Rocks :) ..he just makes me smile :) and right now he is in the kitchen hoping a hamburger falls off the counter and into his mouth ..Not gonna happen puppy! we are serious about our hamburgers! :) but I'm sure he will get something..it is Friday after all :) ...The other day I took my darling husband with me to the quilt shop and remember when I told you that he likes looking at fabric and seeing what he wants..well this time he found something that his best bro will like (hopefully) hehe ..we found Marvel fabric and wow! love it! we all love Marvel ..can't wait for The Avengers!!!!!! anyways Tim asked me if I would make his brother a pillowcase (his brother's birthday was last month) it's our excuse LOL! ..and because I would do anything for my hubby I said sure :) ..so it's all done and ready for a mow-hawked 40 plus year old man's head to lay on ...I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! my nephew's 5Th birthday party is tomorrow and after that is over I will be sewing!!! whoo hoo! I hope to come back tomorrow and show you another block...I'M SO CLOSE!!!!! I could taste it!!!

Obsessed!

Hi Everyone!!! OK I will admit I am so obsessed with quilting, specifically this Swoon quilt! I want to be done with it so I can see the final product! I will be selling it when I'm done because I don't need a queen/king size bedspread lol! so I am sorry!!!! I know I'm primarily a card maker but I have been having the time of my life with sewing! but I promise to get in my craft room this weekend.
