Hi Everyone!!! I had time to craft yesterday so I will have cards to post everyday this week :) Today's card features and image from Sassy Studio Designs and a sketch challenge from Create4fun ...This is I'm Every Woman- Cosmopolitan...isn't she sexy!! I felt she needed red and hot pink..The solid card base is actually a hot pink from SU..the DP is from DCWV (the stack 3) The reddish/pink flowers are from Prima and the white flowers are from CTMH.....The glass has stickles on it....I also used my dew drops on the corners to give it beautification! LOL! O and in the flowers I used cotton puff balls that I rolled into ink..not the top one though I left that white...I hope you like :) ..have a great day! Thank You!! Come Again!!! Mandy P.S. Gina the ink was just regular re-inkers..I wanted to take pictures to show you how it's done but I have no re inkers LOL! so just stick a couple of drops into a little jar, stick your plain ribbon inside, mush it around and take it out, straighten it out and let it dry...How long you leave it in the jar will determine how dark it will be...does that make any sense??? sorry! I suck as a teacher hehe...
Hi Everyone!!! OK I'm off to Gilroy (a town over) to learn how to Digi Scrap...I'm so excited! I hope it's easy because I would really like to scrapbook this way in the future...well Hybrid scrap that is :) I still would like to add some of my own stuff as needed so yep Hybrid...I have to hurry.. Today's card features an image from Pink Cat Studios..The DP is from my "stash" I don't know where it came from :(.... The solid cardstock, buttons and brads are all from CTMH...I used stickles on the baby....I also paper pierced all around the edges....I hope you like it :)...O and the ribbon is from SU that I just soaked in ink to dye it....Have a great Saturday!!! Hi Everyone!!! it's Tuesday and a new season of Biggest Loser..Yay! ..OK let me clear up something real quick.....it almost seems as if I'm whining in my posts about not getting picked on a DT and that's not how I want to come across at all...I don't feel I have the best artwork out there but it does fit me..so that makes me happy... I will keep trying and yes, the right one will come along.. It does make me excited to think about being on one because I want to be apart of a sharing group...so this year is the year for me to keep trying and not give up :)... but it's kinda funny at the same time because I told Tim I need more colors and he's like well buy them :) and then I tell him I need to improve my coloring and he says it's just paper so pratice... I love that man....so my goal is to go to CHA and buy new products and more markers so hopefully by Feb I can give you a little bit more variety...It's kinda hard because we don't have a local scrapbooking store so everything I buy is on-line or at Michael's ..well that's no fun...I like to oooo and ahhh while touching LOL! so CHA here I come... To the card this is Day 11 of 12 days of sketch challenges from The Greeting Farm...so one more day and I will have new cards to show you :)....I'm pretty excited already because I was gone for so long in Nov and Dec and to come back with a bang has been the most fun...so I can't thank TGF enough for helping me get back into the groove.....Sheesh I'm a chatterbox today... Hi Everyone!!! well I didn't win the contest with TGF..so bummer :(....O well... IT WAS SO MUCH FUN THOUGH LOL!!!..so would I do it again? in a heartbeat!.... OK story time: sooo here I am driving with my family in the car and I say gosh darn it I can't get onto a design team...Chiy says Mom your cards are beautiful so don't worry about it. Tim says..why don't you make your own design team? Tim, You have to design your own stamps to start one up and I don't draw.... but I can draw stick figures :) and his response to that was..Hey if that lady can draw stamps that have no heads on them why can't you do stick figures..........OUI you silly man LOL!!! The End :) OK so this is Day 10 of TGF sketch challenge and I used Hope and Grace ...Laundry..isn't she so cute...All The DP is from CTMH...the buttons on the edges are a mixture between CTMH and "stash" .....the blue buttons are corduroy and the pink buttons are very fuzzy...the paper flowers are punched out using a SU punch...the green pearls are from Recollections and the fuzzy ric rac is from my "stash"....I hope you like :) So did everyone start back to the grind today? my kids went back to school this morning and Cordell and I had the worst time waking up..both of us are big time night owls and he's been going to bed about 5am and waking up about noon so let's see how bad he passes out tonight LOL!...Chiy couldn't wait to see her friends...I need to show you a picture of what she did with her birthday $.... :)....Have a great day... OK my bad...I thought I could go shopping this morning and be back before my first football game but nope...everyone in the free world was shopping too...so that meant long lines, price checks and arguments so 5 hours later I'm home...so again I rushed to take pictures and post..so sorry :(.. Today's card features another cute Anya this one is part of a set called Xmas Sweeties from The Greeting Farm....Tim thought she looked more Eskimo and needed more pizazz...so I added a cute snowman button :)....The DP is from My Mind's Eye and the fiber and buttons are from CTMH and SU..The green pearls are from Recollections and the green gems surrounding her are from Taylored Expressions.... Thank you for the sweet comments you have been leaving me..It means so much when you take a sec to say something nice...it really does make my day..In my blogging New Years resolution I have made myself promise to stop lurking and leave a quick comment on each blog I look at..because I look at so many I always think I'll go back and post later but I don't :( and I know how I feel when not to many people comment on my cards..but I promise to start commenting more.....I love blurphing so much so this should be a doable resolution..:)..... Did anyone else make a New Years Resolution??? what is it? and do you need support? if you do let me know and I will for sure be here for you...:) my family is back to eating healthy and exercising are butts off so does anyone want to jump in with me? OK on to the card this is Day 8 of The Greeting Farms 12 days of sketches....I wanted a cutesy card for this sketch..so I used all DP from DCWV All About Boys...The solid cardstock and the lion (stamp) is from CTMH... with the lion I used orange liquid applique to give him a fuzzy mane... The orange glittery brads are from my "stash" ( I threw away the wrapper :()... The sentiment is also from this set..I can't find the name of this set..I think she had it on clearance though...The ticket punch is a punch I have had forever and I was excited to finally get to use it..LOL! ...I hope you have great weekend... Hi Everyone!!! OK so I'm late again..sorry! I took the kids to see The Blind Side..(finally)..It was so good!!!!! gosh this is a movie I would own....So I came home and realized I didn't take pictures of this card yet, so I ran and turned on my lights for my box and yep still need a lot of work but I wanted to get my card posted now not later...You can click on the picture to see more details...This is Day 7 of TGF sketches and I believe this is Savannah...I totally hear in my head the Tina Turner song (I'm a private dancer a dancer for money .........LOL!!! now you get to hear it in your head.....All The DP, ribbon, brads and the white flowers are from CTMH..the red flowers are from Michael's that I separated from other flowers....I distressed everything in Walnut Ink from Ranger...so that means I wanted to tone down the real white flowers so I distressed them too :).... Hi Everyone! Sorry I'm late...I had a dentist appt and it took so long..sheesh... but here ya go...Don't you love my title of this post LOL! my family loved my card but there like umm the bird is so dark...so I told them it's a brown bird get off my back already hehehe OK so the reason he's so dark is because the marker I used said light brown well not when you put it onto white paper..they lied..yep markers fault..This is sketch 6 from The Greeting Farm...and I'm all caught up with the challenges so come back each and every day because I will have a card everyday LOL! all the DP and embellishments are from CTMH with the Ric rack from my "stash"...I hope you like :)...this one was fun. ... Hi Everyone!!!! well today is Day 5 of The Greeting Farm 12 Days Of Christmas sketches...I'm still having fun with them :)...Tim has been laughing because I'm like O! I like that sketch! and the next day same thing..hehe...so I wanted to make a boy card and this is what I came up with. A team Edward card LOL!...His name is actually Edward...just click on the blue link I gave you right on top and it will take you to TGF"s blog and from there look on the right and it will say SHOP just click on that and you will be hooked from your first one :)....The price is going up so run don't walk to purchase some...I finally was able to use my new Basic Grey DP this one is called Archaic.. I printed out the sentiment...The black snaps that are surrounding him are from my "stash"....the buttons are from Making Memories.. Hi Everyone!!! well I have decided after all morning taking pictures that I need to watch a few YouTube videos on how to use this light box correctly :)....you would think its just put lights on the side and line up the picture and snap..but...it's not working LOL! o boy....so bear with me..I'll figure it out...perseverance is my new middle name on EVERYTHING.....
