Amazing Husband! Lots Of Pictures & A Card :)






Hi Everyone!!!! I did it again! I ditched my blog for over a week! so sorry! I got so involved with quilting I didn't want to stop! so my husband is AMAZING! remember last year I showed you pictures of my sewing room..well then my daughter moved back in so I lost it but I would rather have her then the room so it's all good..well I didn't want to put my machine away so I went into our formal dining room..so that's where I have been all this time..a couple of day ago I asked hubby if we could take out the dining room set and make it into my official sewing room..it took him about 5 seconds to say OK :) ..so fast forward to today when he came home from work he dismantled all the furniture and now I have a SEWING ROOM!!!! so darn EXCITED!!!! but he's not done..see those TV trays to the left, those are coming out and he's going to be building me a standing light box to the height I want (I love to applique) ...and that table on the left will be my ironing board so he's building me a top for it..I'll take more pictures when he's done!!!! O boy! I'm writing this post and I want to go sew!!!! but I did take the time this morning to use the sketch from Sketch Saturday to  make this really simple card..the colors came to me while I was sleeping the other day and I just love it! I added the charm because it say's 9:00 and I thought that was cute with the sentiment and image :) reminds me of country line dancing! O and the bulldog applique that I made last night is a WIP of Rocks! I think I'm going to add his name to the top or bottom...so I really wanted to link up to a blog that I absolutely love! I like scrolling through everyone's blog that links up so my turn! :) I hope I'm going to do it right but it's called Freshly Pieced ..Have an awesome day!!!!!

    Fantastic! I'm not the only one... My studio is technically the "formal living room". Anyone that knows me, knows I dont do ANYTHING formal so it made sense to use that space for crafting!     Great room and great husband! My husband moved his stuff out off our upstairs bonus room over the garage and offered it up to me for my sewing room. Great and giving men are hard to find! Love the dog block!
