Owl and Pretzels

Hi Everyone!!! Sorry about no card yesterday..I went to the hospital yesterday morning and had my biopsy..Let me tell you that was an experience I could live without..It felt like they were trying to shove a regular straw from one side of my neck to the other side just like Frankenstein :) but with needles Oui..then they took their sample and came back and said they didn't have enough so they went and NOW tried to shove a milkshake straw from one side of my neck to the other..I am not kidding when I tell ya ..It freakin sucked ..So the last thing on my mind was my blog LOL! ..But I made this card this morning using the sketch from Mojo Monday and Yep another punch (Two-Step Owl XL #118074) ..It was so much fun :) ...SU DSP (Play Date #117168)..I also used an old set of Metal Tags from SU..the sentiment says Thank You but there's a glare and fingerprints on the tag but it's there :) ..the sentiment is from set Silhouette Sentiments (Hostess # 118474) ...the dew drops are from my "stash" ..I hope you have a great day...see ya tomorrow with my Friday Funny :) ...O and I did make my big soft pretzels and they taste just like them..so cool!!!

Winged Boy ;)

Hi Everyone!!!! Today is an easy day :) ..I'll show you pictures tomorrow of my attempt at making Big Soft Pretzels and Pretzel Rolls :) ...so that's the hardest thing I'm doing today.. O and watching BL of course.. Quilted Card and Questions ;)

Hi Everyone!!!! It's Monday the start of Spring Break, so that means lots of time for cookie creating and crafting :) ....OK so I have to ask...Did anyone watch Extreme Couponing, the one with the GUY couponer?? when they showed his basement and his wall of 1,000 toothpastes I was amazed but when they showed his stockpile of Tampons and Kotexs I had to wonder...Does he hope to woo a girl with his pile of feminine products? Is that a big catch for a girl??..a guy who's not embarrassed to buy these products?? He can tell her SEE I'll do anything for you babe (big grin on his face)...Or does he have them in case his basement floods and you can't really buy sand bags with coupons so this is the next best thing??....OR is he prone to hurting himself so when he starts to bleed from his wound he has instant absorbent?? Does he get a lot of nose bleeds so he opens up the tampons and sticks them up his nose? Does he open up the wings and think there cool airplanes?? I'm just wondering :) Hmmmm... Anyways this card was made using Beate's quilted card technique..Lots of work but love the end result :) ...The DSP is from SU (Retired) and the butterfly is from the Bigz die Beautiful #114507..the sentiment is from a retired set also...I hope you like it :)..have a wonderful Monday

Bird Punch

Hi Everyone!!!! .Yay! today is Celebrity Apprentice and Amazing Race...and of course this morning was In the Kitchen With David, so my Sunday will be complete :) ..I just finished making this card..I like how it came out..It's Beate's Criss Cross card but I made it into a gift card holder..All the DSP is retired SU...I finally was brave and used a Punch! Hmm watcha think?? how did I do? The punch is Two-Step Bird Extra-Large #117191 ...The sentiment is from the Hostess Set called Silhouette Sentiments #118474..I did add Stickles to the leaf/branches...I hope you have a fabulous day and I should be back every single day this week :) ..

Sleeping and Challah Bread :)

Sitting Pretty :)

Hi Everyone!!! Did you watch Biggest Loser last night? OK so how many of you would have jumped off the skyline? I WOULD!!!!! I would be scared Sh**Less! but hey when would an opportunity like that ever happen to you again? I am terrified of flying but I do it because I am not going to be the reason my family can't see the world ..and who wants to stay in one city and never experience anything? Not Me! so I put my clean big girl panties on and deal with it when the time comes...OK on to the card..I was playing around while watching BL and this is what I came up with :) ..I like the sketch (feel free to use it) :) ..The DP is from Memory Box (Gossamer) ..I have never inked up this image and I have had her for about 2 years, so that means I don't know who made it :(...sheesh! but isn't she beautiful..I did add two different stickles in her wings...I really wanted soft colors for this card and I think I achieved it :) The flowers are from Prima and the white pearls are from Recollections.. Hi Everyone!!! OK so who else watches Celebrity Apprentice and Amazing Race??? I love those shows!!! ...That Gary Busey is so weird but drugs/alcohol and motorcycle crash..yep that will screw with your head....Doesn't Mark McGrath look like he's had some sort of face left? Something is just off Hmm.. My favorite is Meatloaf :) I love his music...Who's your fav? ..On Amazing Race I really like the Cowboys :) .. I would love to do Amazing Race with Tim but boy you need to be in shape..OK on to the card..I'm a day late for my DT work with Sunday Sketch & Stamp but I did play this morning, with my fellow DT's Arianne's sketch....I used I think everything that is retired SU LOL! The ribbon and dew drops are all from my "stash" ..I did liquid applique some of the scoops...I hope you have a fantastic day :)

Late Friday Funny + Card+ Food :)

Hi Everyone!!!! I missed posting yesterday but I had no free time..I went to the movies with my friend..saw Arthur (like the original better) ...and had to rush home to make pizza dough because Cordell was bringing over 3 friends to spend the night ...so that pizza picture down below..is completely homemade :) ..Loved making it..Kids really liked it too ..I also made a original Juniors Cheesecake and we busted into this morning and Man O Man! I love cheesecake and it was scrumptious! love it :) ...I did make some strawberry sauce to go with it but I didn't show it hehe...so yesterday was baking and cooking all day.. Chiy and I left home for about an 1hr because we are training to run a 5K in Sept..we came home and all you hear is 4 boys saying ..stop killing me!!! OK revenge! ..Yep playing Halo..One of the boys brought his X-Box...Oui... On to the card..I made this to show you yesterday :) ..it was a sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges.. All the DSP is from SU..I did use two different DSP's ..The image is one that I love more and more each time I use it :) ..#120531 The Nicest Things ..The flower is from Prima..It's a simple card but I like it :) I hope you do too :) ...
The picture of Rocks is a late Friday Funny..You will see me in the glare but I love the effect of the picture..if you look closely you will see Rocks yawning :) ..have a good weekend..I will for sure see you tomorrow..Now I'm off with the family to see Hop ..I hope this movie is at least cute and funny.. :)

More Fartsy Then Artsy

Hi Everyone!!! Well yesterday they turned the power off to our whole neighborhood! I forgot they were going to do that LOL!... but sign of the times..I'm wracking my brain trying to remember if I paid the bill..Then I remembered getting a notice that April 6Th power would be out from 9-6! what!! OMG!! do you want to know how much I rely on power!!! A lot!! I was so bored..I couldn't make a card because my sewing machine didn't work..I couldn't bake ..no power..I couldn't watch TV (missed Ellen)! grr!!!..I sure as heck am NOT an outside girl, so no weeding or gardening...(my whole idea of outside is Feeding The Turkeys and running back inside)....Stick me with a fork I'm done! ..So I went shopping :)
They finally gave me my power back ..insert.. (Evil Laugh)
So Chiy and I watched that new show Extreme Couponing and Holy Smokes that's a full time job!!! 5 hours in a grocery store! and hours cutting, organizing! No way!! OK so the only difference between a Hoarder and an Extreme Coupon person is that an extremer has there stuff organized! but come on your a hoarder when your whole house is full of groceries! who in the world needs 100 deodorants?? The only thing I didn't see in any of those houses is a grocery cart! Both disturbing...AND if I was to put about 50 packages of toilet paper under my kids bed I think when I was sleeping they would wrap me in it but I'm sure they would scent it with deodorant first..they do love me after all (I think).....Sheesh! to much..if you didn't watch the show WATCH IT!!! and of course after Extreme Couponing they show Hoarders Buried Alive hahaha! OK I'm done ranting..I tell ya I was so bored yesterday! so I'm making up for it :)

My 1ST Pinwheel!

Hi Everyone!!! I wanted to make a card that screamed Spring/Summer and I came up with this! what do you think? Chiy said I had to mention that I was looking for a straw that was White or Yellow and couldn't find one and she said there's a candy stick in the drawer and WA LA! it made it perfect..Thanks Chiy :) (Brat) :)

Hi Everyone!!!! Well I have been having a blast cooking!!!! Can ya tell! and this is only half I forgot to take pictures of the rest but I have been making my own bread...all the way from the yeast to kneading..it is fun!!!!!! So sorry about all the pictures but I'm proud of myself LOL! Still practicing cookies..I have down the royal icing and the cookie recipe itself..so now I ordered all my Ameri Gel colors and I can't wait till I get my order in because I still want to practice...any of my local girls, can come and get them at anytime..I don't want to eat them..I just want to decorate them LOL! so yep I will be donating to a lot of people..be warned :) ... My 1st Cookies :)

Hi Everyone!!! well cookie lessons went really well :) Loved it! My cookies look like a child did them but that's OK practice makes perfect..we made Marshmallow Fondant and Royal icing...Ah YUMMMM! At least they taste yummy even though there not that pretty LOL!!! So my friend Lisa and I are making them again tomorrow since my boys are headed to what was supposed to be a boy trip out of town .. O well if I would have known that it wasn't going to be I would have went with them..So I will be making cookies tomorrow and waiting to hear if they had fun or not...So I hope to make a card tonight...
It's been one week since we lost BC and I wanted to show you this cute picture of him..He has Pumpkin and Rice on his nose :) He was such a cutie, we miss him tremendously :( ..Love ya Bear Cubby :)
