Want an apple???

Good morning Everyone!!! Thank you for the wonderful comments yesterday. They sure are appreciated!
Today's card features a image I got from RAK quite awhile back. I think it's from the House Mouse line. I just love these guys. You'll see more from me in the future using them. There's not one of them that's not darling. I started by coloring the image. I used my versamark pen to go over what I colored then heat embossed to set the color. I used the post it note technique again (love Zindorf) to mask the area I wanted to be grass and the other to be the sky. I used the totally awesome stamp set Lovely As a Tree from Stampin Up to add the trees in the background. I also paper pieced the bottom of the card. I really wanted the focus to be on the image so I only added ribbon and a sentiment. Because of the work using the image it's not a simple card..LOL! that's why I didn't want to feature it on Simple Wednesdays :) All my bases are from Bazzill and there 6x6..
Thank you everyone!
Have a great day! Come again!
Mandy
