A Matey!! Argg!!

Hi Everyone! well today's card features an image from The Greeting Farm. I bought this set a couple of months ago and now had a chance to ink it up. My nieces birthday is today and my in- laws are having a party for her tonight. So she likes pirates.. so perfect..LOL! and I like doing sketch challenges and haven't branched out to color challenges (I'm to scared) WELL my SIL was the first to hand me my first color challenge because my niece likes Turquoise and second color brown..O BOY!... I decided to buy her some books because she likes to read, that led me to go through the sketch challenges with SCS and I found this sketch # SC06 and I thought it was perfect. She can take out the bookmark and use it :) I did not want an empty spot when she takes out her bookmark so I put the boy pirate behind the bookmark. The DP is from Basic Grey (Blush) The bookmark itself I made with BG DP to be able to fit Anya. You just have to click on the pictures so you can check out these cool brads I had in my "stash." The skull on the bottom is Tim Holtz Grungeboard that I covered with Copper stickles. Around the card base which is the new in color from SU (Bermuda Bay) I paper pieced. Almost all the ribbon is from CTMH. I won't even tell you that I used my Dew Drops..LOL!! Well that's it :) Have a great Friday!!!

Want To Share Some Watermelon...

Hi Everyone!!! sorry for not posting yesterday. It's been a tough week. I went back to full time exercising and can I say that its possible when your doing a full hour of advanced step that you remember all the junk you ate (and DRANK shhh) during vacation, I can tell you that you do especially when your trying not to die on the step or fall on it!. All this week my eyes have rolled to the back of my head and I can see the pizza, bacon cheeseburgers, chicken wings and especially the chocolateholics buffet at midnight and my brain is laughing at me asking was it worth it?...heck no!!!!! holy crap it hurts!!!! so it's been so hard to get out of bed. I think my butt is plastered to the bed it's saying no more..LOL!! anyways sorry for the story...
Today's card features a image from High Hopes. Isn't she cute!? I have to remember I have a variety of stamps and maybe I should use them... This is a Mojo Monday Sketch. Sketch 97. The card base and flowers are all from CTMH and all the DP is from SU. The sentiment is the matching stamp from HH. The cute corner punch is from SU and the brads and corduroy ribbon are all misc...and my lovely dew drops...well that's it!

Christmas Lily

Hi Everyone! Today's card features an image from Pink Cat Studios. Her name is Lily. It's also a Mojo Monday Sketch.. http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2009/07/mojo-monday-week-95.html I had so much fun creating this card. I felt good creating again. I hope you'll like it too...All the DP is from Basic Grey (Wassail) PP. On Lily herself I used my Souffle white pen to add dimension to her clothes and earmuffs, on the cute snowman I used liquid applique. I screwed up the bird so he looks like he's been dead for awhile or cooked on high...hehe (ignore it.) The ribbon and the very cute fabric tag with the Frosty saying is from CTMH... The border is from Martha Stewart and of course whats a card without dew drops.... :)

Bathtub Time!

Hi Everyone!!! well I'm officially back. Vacation is over! I got to play yesterday and I made two cards this one being one of them so I jumped in and made a simple card but I liked it anyways :)
Today's card features an image from WOJ. I was in a image swap with SCS awhile ago and finally am getting around to using it. I of course stuck stickles on all the bubbles and the water on the floor. The card base is from the new In Color from SU called Crushed Curry. The DP is from Basic Grey (Lime Rickey) PP. I used two things from my "stash" the splish splash sticker and the ducky sticker. Buttons are from CTMH. That's it :) tomorrow's card is a Christmas card and a Mojo Monday sketch from two weeks ago and I love it. So come back :)
On a personal note I have been an inactive CTMH consultant for awhile now but now have decided to go back to it. I have been using so many embellishments from them and the DP I want more! LOL! I'm two catty's behind in ordering anything and next month the new Fall catty comes out and to me that's the best one. All the new DP for Christmas and Halloween come out on that one. So if your interested in a catty LMK and I'll get one to you. BUT on a warning note I am NOT a exclusive kinda gal I use everything so I will be using more of my DP from CTMH but it will incorporate SU, Basic Grey everything...OK .... So thank you again for sticking with me I get to wash mountains of laundry today but I get to play!

I Have An AWESOME MOM!!!

Hi Everyone!! Well I'm at the hotel right now so excuse my daughter behind the wall hanging quilt. LOL! I didn't have time to take pictures before I left so I brought it with me. While I was on vacation my mom made me this wall hanging! she knows how much I love cupcakes and she thought of me. OMG!!! I love it!!! she made everything and she also quilted it herself so I took close up pictures so you could see the detail work...Gosh I just think she did an awesome job and I'm so thankful. What do you think??? isn't it great?

I'm not back YET! :)

Hi Everyone! thank you to everyone who has left a comment. It was so fun to turn on my phone and see what everyone said and to know at least that the dated posts worked. Well we went on a 7 day cruise to Alaska and it was phenomenal! we also went a day early and stayed a day late in Seattle to get in an extra vacation site. We are glad to be home BUT my DH has an annual trip with his two brothers and so he was home for two days with me and then he left this morning to go to Comic Con in San Diego well I miss him so much and wasn't about to stay home and mope so I'm off at 5 in the morning and taking both of my kids to Disneyland for three days and then vacation is officially over..wheww not complaining at all but I'm tired :) and I really miss making cards! so Sunday is my day and hopefully next weeks blog posts will be filled with some cute cards....
So I'll look and see if I have anymore cards to show you and I'll post date them..LOL! so see ya'll Monday..crossing my fingers that I'll have some Mojo though..hmmm..

Beaded Cupcakes :)

Hi Everyone!! Today's card features an image from Inkadinkadoo. This is a simple card. The DP is from Basic Grey with Misc ribbon wrapped around the green DP. I colored in the cupcakes and added beads to give it dimension ... That's it :) I told you some were better then others..LOL!

Tis The Season!

Hi Everyone!!! today's card features an image from House Mouse. I can't seem to help myself when I color in these guys to do this technique with them. I colored them and heat embossed over all the colored parts to set it. I used a blue ink to sponge the background and used a gold leafing pen for the edges of the image. The ribbon is Misc with a flying reindeer button added for cuteness... :) That's it!

Howdy! says Sheriff Ian...

Hi Everyone!!! Today's card features an image from TGF and it was also from my friend Tammy....OK so this card was so frustrating to make... My family said it needed something and was just to weird. Well I tried and tried AND tried some more and just couldn't figure out how to fix it...so you guys get to...LOL! tell me what it needs to make it perfect.....
I put embellishments on each corner and wrapped twine all around the DP. I also used my nesties and pop dotted Ian onto the blue. All around the blue I added gold pen to frame him in. The sentiment is from Pink Cat Studios. What I did with the star was, I got a Basic Grey star chipboard piece and on the back I added blue paper and traced around the shape. The DP is on the front of the star and I distressed all around it..... That's it!!!

Wrapped With Ribbon

Hi Everyone! Today's card features an image from SHOOT! I forgot O O! I bought this stamp a long time ago and I just don't remember..sorry..
But the DP is from DCWV I think the Sweet Shop set...What I did was, wrapped the misc ribbon around the DP and layered the image added dew drops to the corners. I also put stickles inside the balloons. The Chipboard heart is Misc. That's it :)

I used a sketch challenge from SCS and I was good and wrote down what sketch number it was but didn't remind myself to bring the post it with me. I used all embellishments and DP from CTMH. O except for the circle embellishment on the top of the image that's from SU... That's it :)

Hi Everone!! so because I was late getting all the pictures taken, uploaded and watermarked I didn't realize (again) how bad my pictures are. So if you click on them you can see them a little better. Well today is an odd card it should have been posted on Thursday but what's so odd about it isssss that there's no image..LOL! its just real pretty paper with a Happy Birthday sentiment :) This was a sketch from a long time ago. You Need To Wear Sunglasses.... :)

Hi Everyone!!! OK it's been crazy as usual...as of right now were getting on a plane and going on vacation..yay! so please stay with me. I have posts everyday scheduled some are better then others I'll warn you now..LOL! I would love to be able to read your comments when I get the chance so please leave some and give me something to look forward to with blogging from afar..hehe..
Today's card features an image from Magnolia the butterfly collection. I got the image from Amy Rodosta as part of the WRAK group on SCS.. Gosh I love that group!
Does any old timers from SU recognize this paper? I don't have the name because I found it in my "stash" and it goes with the new "In Color" from SU. So the base is a 6x6 Melon Mambo. I love all of the in colors..have I said that before..hmmm..well I do :)...
The buttons are from Taylored Expressions and there corduroy.. I also used Ric Rac from CTMH and the flower is from Prima with another T.E button in the middle..
I made a matching bucket because the bucket was also part of my "stash."
I made it and Chiyanne wanted it, so I give her a week before it's in the garbage, so I'll say bye to it now.. :0...The ribbon on the bucket was a lot of MISC ribbon and the flowers on the top are all from Prima with a CTMH button on each one...well that's it for now so please come back..LOL!

In Style! and Last Day For Blog Candy...

Hi Everyone!!! well today's the last day for BLOG CANDY. I will be announcing the winner tonight. So go to that post and enter.......
Today's card features a image from a stamp company called In Style. I bought a couple from her and I must say I love them and she had fast shipping...This stamp is called Super Mom. I used a sketch from Sketch Saturday to create this card and I used Bazzill base with all the DP from SU. I pop dotted her to add dimension. I got to use my new SU punch (modern label). I finally did something new and printed out my own sentiment and who new but that was fun and pretty cool. So I'll be doing more of that in the future. The flower is from my "stash" so I don't know where it's from..sorry!
I added pink beads on all the corners to match the beads in the middle of the flower. The buttons are from CTMH and they match perfectly with SU stuff..hehe So that's it... I'm going on vacation this Saturday and I won't be back till the 20Th so I will try to do the automated posts but if something screws up I won't know till I get back. I won't have access to the Internet, so I'll have to drink more to get my mind off of blurphing.. I'm going to have such withdrawals so feel for me..hehe. well go enter and I'll be back tonight....

So Demure :)

Hi Everyone!!! Hope everyone's weekend was safe and fun... Sorry for no post yesterday. My husband worked on Saturday so we had are family time yesterday and we had a blast. I will tell you that I was making cards on Saturday just having fun creating and I went to get my mom so she could be with the kids and me for fireworks, well we went outside for about a half hour to light fireworks and this year Chiyanne my oldest who's 16 1/2 decided to light them this year. That in itself was hilarious...she would light them and run off screaming! so we were the loudest on the block because we couldn't stop laughing and she wouldn't stop screaming when she lit them..lol! O boy! well I came inside to get something and lo and behold my dog who's scared of fireworks was panicked and he had this wild look about him and a o boy I'm busted look and that got me to look around to see what he did and no kidding he went into my office and destroyed everything! all my punches, papers, stamps, sewing machine and all my embellishments were all over the floor...I turned to yell at him and he booked it to the bedroom, he was so dead :) then I looked around some more and he put a huge gash in the door jamb leading to outside. So I took pity on him and told him he was forgiven. Well that lead me to just shut my office door and leave it for the next day. Then yesterday morning I tell my husband come look at what the dog did and I take him to my room and he tells me quite bravely... that it always looks like this....O boy he was so dead! I told him he better run.....LOL!!!! so lets just say I know how to make sure the bruises don't show ;) and he has only a little limp.......hehehe ....O and by the way my dog is a 130lb Mastiff..ugh!!! so thanks for reading my story but it's never a dull day in my household.....

What A Purse! :()

Hi Everyone!!! well its oddball Thursday and I have two purses I made. This idea came from Simple Scrapbooks. It's basically a 8x8 scrapbooking purse. What you do is, design your layout, then laminate all the pieces you'll have 5 altogether you will then punch out holes all around the sides and bottoms (not the top) then you lace plastic wire thru all the holes and tie off all corners really good. The handles are plastic tubing you find in the hardware store, stick a glittery pipe cleaner in the opening. Most of the tools you will use will be your Crop A Dile. That it's. It's real time consuming! but cute when your done. I will tell you I made a horrible mistake. I thought I was being real creative by making two purses with my kids pictures, until my oldest tells me.... hey! why are you using the purse with just Cordell's picture on it? what about me? are you playing favorites??? and then I take hers and he's like....Hey! why are you using the purse with just Chiy's picture on it! .........SHOOT ME NOW!!!!! LOL!!!!!!...........so needless to say they both sit side by side on our bookcase.... never to be used.. because NO I do not love one more then the other.... So with careful consideration for the mom's out there, I tell you this.... put both kids on ONE purse!!! .........Well that's it :) and tomorrow's the big day BLOG CANDY!!!!!! so come back.......

"two" simple :)

Good Morning Everyone!!! Thank You for the sweet comments! well today is double post Wednesday and I picked these two cards because there so simple but so fun and cute. LOL!
The first card features an image from High Hopes. Aren't they a cute gang. hehe. I used Basic Grey DP and the flowers are from Prima. All the brads are from CTMH. The ribbon is corduroy and feels pretty cool :) I used black ink to distress the white. That's it for that one. I told you real simple :)
Next card features an image from I think Hero Arts. My friend Tammy sent it to me and I just thought she was adorable. Well in my "stash" I had this old SU stamp set called Kanji and thought it would be perfect together. So I used Memory Box DP layered the images onto the same DP and added Corduroy buttons from Taylored Expressions. The ribbon is misc. This was a challenge card but I was not going to submit it because it is way to simple. LOL! I would be embarrassed. I hope everyone who visits me likes them :) so there ya go two simple cards....... :)
