10 Min..O O Card :)

Hi Everyone!!! Funny story and I'm a dork..so we got invited to a wedding reception, it was a potluck. I wanted to bring 3 dishes, so I cooked all day on Saturday the reception was at 4:00pm ..at 3:30 I finally finished up the last dish and I thought.. O Man!!!! I don't have a card for them!!!! Didn't I mention in my last post how hot it is where I live?? well of course it was hot again..then you add in the oven being on all day and it was a sauna! I'm sweating like mad..I have to take a shower still and get dressed but since that's the easiest thing for me to do ..I waited till the last minute but now I have a problem because of this dang card..I run into my craft room and I'm scanning my stamp sets trying to figure out what will work for a wedding card and I have NOTHING! O boy! and I don't know their colors..so double drats! ..I just grab what I can and in 10 minutes I made this card!(and took a picture of it).. It's not my best work but since neither one of them are crafters I knew they wouldn't judge LOL!..so lo and behold ..we pack up the car and head to the reception..we arrive at 4:15 and walk to the doors with our arms full and guess what!? doors are locked! both Tim and I are looking at each other wondering if they moved the reception..we go back to the car and I call my daughter and she says ..let me look at my calendar on my phone..well duh! it's on my phone too..sooooooo here's where the brain fart comes in..the reception is on SUNDAY! not Saturday..I am a complete and utter DORK! WOW! ..luckily everything I made is even better the next day..wheewww! but talk about a mix up...OUI!!!! The End :)
Thank You!!!!! Come Again!!!!!

Celebrate A Sweet Birthday! BRIGHT as can be ;)

Hi Everyone! I was going to post this yesterday but didn't have a chance...it is so hot where we live and it's miserable, so I try not to go outside..I'm surprised this picture isn't blurry :) I ran outside snapped a few shots and ran back in so fast! yuck! hate this weather! I can't wait for my favorite Fall and Winter :) ..this card was put together with an 80's theme in my head the whole time..If you find it in your heart to help my beloved Rocks out.. I sure would appreciate it..here's the link to his GoFundMe page..

SU PL July 21-27th

Hi Everyone! I finished last weeks weekly PL page and I wanted to share..this was such a fun time with my hubby..I saved up for us to be able to get our season passes from Disneyland..who knew that just a few days later I needed that money to help my poor baby Rocks..so looking at the pictures this week is really hard because we did have a great time and I wiped out my savings account...it's one of those..should of, would of, could of :( ..so I had to ask for help which sucks..because we have never asked for help for anything before..OK maybe one time..we needed help moving our hot tub from one house to another 10 years ago..but pretty much Tim and I can do everything by ourselves but not at this time..so if you have it in you to help with a donation it would be appreciated. We went and got Rocks ultrasound yesterday and they quoted us $700 ..well we left with a $909.15 bill instead..ouch! here's the link to my sweethearts page Rocky Needs Help ..thank you!!! The SU PL I used was Everyday Adventure..I did add extra embellishments from my "stash" ..I felt it was OK and I really like how they made the page even better..this was a really bright layout..now time to put it away :(
Thank You!!! Come Again!!!
