Pushing Strawberries..

Hi Everyone!! wow I'm so late!!! but hey I made this card this morning and I like it..LOL!! AND it's my design no sketch :)....OK but tomorrow's is...hehehe...
I have to be quick....
This is another image I got a long time ago, she's from All That Scraps her name is Leisel & her wheelbarrow...Love her :)
The DP is from Best Creations . The little pink popping out is from SU Melon Mambo and the base is textured cardstock from DCWV. Ribbon is from my "stash"...I cut out the strawberries and stuck them in the wheelbarrow...and stickles are in her wings....I also paper pieced everywhere..LOL!! I bought a new tool from Making Memories and had to try it out it's a way smaller paper piercer then the Tim Holtz one I own.. I recommend it!!! what fun and easier to use with smaller pieces.....well have a good night!!!

Still At The Beach!

Hi Everyone!!!! Today's card features I think her name is Evie from Jessica Lynn Originals. Is she the cutest :)... I used stickles on her bathing suit and her floaties. You can click the picture for a better view. I couldn't resist using more of the Basic Grey Euphoria collection.. When I saw this sketch awhile ago I knew I wanted to make the middle into a bookmark. Hopefully I accomplished that. It's another simple card but a lot of fun to create. The base and solid cardstock are all from CTMH. The ribbon and flower are from my "stash"...and nothings makes a card cuter then putting dew drops on them..hehehe....have a wonderful Sunday. I get to go motorcycle riding with my hubby yay!!! so I'll see ya all tomorrow....

OK so I have to show you my craft desk.....I'm sure I'm not the only one. I find it funny though that this is what it looks like after making today's blog post card and tomorrow's card. ALL my cards take a few hours to make. Making cards doesn't come easy to me and I really have to try. That's why when I discovered that I can do sketches after being so scared of them for so many years and looking at them with a glazed look in my eye. That's actually what I like to do! It is challenging but so much fun and I can't get enough of them. LOL! (shh because I know you couldn't tell hehe.. anyways sheesh got off track... I had to be brave and show you what my desk looks like when I'm done..I have to do a cleaning spree when I get done with this post and tomorrow I'll show you what I start off with..LOL! my hubby Tim when he's home he sits with me in my office and plays on the computer and talks to me while I craft and he usually doesn't care that it takes me hours to finish one..LOL! but when I'm done making a card he tells me I did a great job and looks at my desk smiles and snickers...is that true love or what..LOL!!! so anyways I'm done writing my novel and I hope you can relate....have a good night..

Trick Or Treat!!

Hi Everyone!!!! thank you for all the sweet comments! today's card features an image from CTMH and I thought it fit this new DP I picked up at Michael's the other day:)
I followed a sketch from The Fresh Batch you can find them here By golly I think I did it! the link! whoo hoo!!! anyways there having a sketch challenge and if they like your work they'll pick you to be a quest designer..I think that would be awesome..so here's my entry..I must say this was tough! but I hope you guys like it LOL!!
I used SU Rich Razzleberry for my base. All the DP is from Recollections (Halloween). I also Pop Dotted the Halloween sayings on the bottom right, plus the cat. I hid the dew drops so shhh..hehe..the Ribbon is from CTMH and the orange string is just embroidery thread....well what do you think??? please give me your input...O and my Nephew liked it so it's going to him for Halloween..LOL! he's 2.......so it impressed him :) so I have 1 I LIKE IT! LOL!!!

My Favorite Card!!

Today's card is so far my favorite I love everything about it. In fact Chiy claimed it as a birthday card for her best friend. LOL! This is a Mojo Monday sketch that's altered just a little but I think still qualifies. The base and solid cardstock are all from CTMH. All the DP is from Basic Grey the Euphoria line. When I saw the paper I immediately thought of Megan from TGF I haven't used her yet and I bought her a long time ago so Yay! finally! .... All the bling, ribbon, flowers and circle embelly are from CTMH. The paper clip is from Making Memories and the little flower button is from SU... Well I'm going to stick this card into the TGF's gallery and I hope people there will enjoy it :) have a good Thursday...

Wanna Hula???

Hi Everyone!!! it's already Wednesday sheesh... Well today's card features an image from TGF. My favorite stamp company! there actually having a DT shout out but I don't want to try out right now I really don't feel that I have it. I've seen some of my fellow bloggers work and there submitting work that's outstanding and holy crud I'm not that good. so maybe next time. I do hope you like what I make though..LOL!!
The card base is SU Melon Mambo and the DP is from Michael's and I forgot to keep the name of it..sorry :( but it's Hawaiian themed and I thought it would be fitting for the image. I used my metal flower embellishment s that I had in my "stash" I also pop dotted her onto the circle and used stickles in her flower and a dew drop to pop out the flower. This is a real simple card.... I hope you have a great day...and I will have Cordell pick a name from a hat tonight to see who won the Anya/Ian stamp of there choice....so I'll announce it in the morning...

Baby Boy....

Hi Everyone!!!! Well for the first time I was asked to participate in a challenge. The challenge was to make a baby card. So I combined a baby card and Taylored Expressions sketch challenge. What do you think? don't the smashed peas on the babies mouth bring back memories..LOL! The challenge is the first from a new group called Ai Factory.. Through Paper Planet I think there linked.. Need to find out more info but with school starting and Cordell's birthday it's been a little hectic. So forgive me....
I used Making Memories Kids Collection (Ethan) DP...The image is from Inkadinkado. I also paper pieced all around the edges of the DP and image. The button with the rocking horse is adhered to a circle tag that I sponged green onto to soften the white... I wasn't going to BUT I had to! I used my Dew Drops..LOL!!! gosh dang I love these things and good thing I have an endless supply.. I seriously cant help myself... so hopefully you understand... well that's it for today and now I'm off to create! yay!! ME TIME!!! whoo hoo...

We had such a good day yesterday and of all the presents he got (Game Stop, Barnes N Noble and Target) his favorite was a HUGE 3lb bag of popcorn that my parents gave him!!! LOL!!! OMGosh it was so funny!! he's a simple kinda kid...LOL!
He's done that before, my nieces were born in Oct and my In-laws had a party for them last year and the kids played games and they gave prizes but the prizes were from a witch... When it was time to open his gift he unveiled a....... POTATO! and he was laughing so hard and he got such a kick out of it. He wouldn't let it go so we cooked it in the morning and he loved it... :)

Happy 11TH Birthday Cordell!!!

Hi Everyone!!! well it's been a hectic morning so far but fun! today's Cordell's birthday and I have family coming over for dinner so I need to hurry back to cooking but I wanted to give a huge shout out to the wonderful ladies who sent him cards.... I Wanna Sing!!

Hi Everyone!!! Thank you for all the comments I have received this week..they are all appreciated! and did you guys see on the post yesterday that Beate commented on my card! wow! what an honor..if you don't know she's royalty of card making LOL!... well today's card features a image from The Greeting Farm. TGF also had a sketch challenge that I really wanted to play with..Here's my card :) It asked for stitching and hopefully I stepped up to the plate. I'm not sure if you can see in the picture but I stitched on the left and right side of the DP and on either side of the image. The DP is some glittery goodness from My Mind's Eye called Festive and Frost..The bottom DP is so fitting I thought because it has singing notes.. The fibers on the corners of the image is also some glittery Christmas red. O and just in case you don't know this is a Christmas card..LOL!!! (non traditional) ;)...The glittered red brads and ribbon are from my "stash".... the sentiment is a rub on..... Taylored Expressions mini rhinestones finish off the card...... have a great Sunday .. I have two more sketch challenges to show you Mon and Tues so stay tuned and I have applied to 3 design teams I hope I can make at least one... so keep your fingers crossed for me.... :)

Love is Eternal..

Hi Everyone!!! yay it's Saturday! Today's card features an image from The Greeting Farm. My friend Tammy sent me this one and I love them! Tim and I have best friends that just celebrated there Anniversary on the 19TH and I wanted to make them a special card. Well this is it.LOL! This sketch is from yesterday's Mojo Monday. I can say that I love it! Lisa's fav color is royal blue so I wanted to incorporate that into the card. I used SU base and all the DP is from SU. The ribbon is from CTMH and the metal sentiment is from my "stash" pretty easy card but fun to make..I hope they like it :).. Well I'm off to see G.I Joe again..shhhh... so have a great weekend...

Still Summer!

Hi Everyone!!! Yay it's Friday!! well this week went out the door for some ME time..LOL! sheesh! I can't believe I even thought for a sec that I would be able to play.. O well!
Last night I got to FINALLY play and I made this card from Mojo Monday's sketch yesterday.. I like it..my picture seems to be a little crooked but it's just my picture skillz..(rolling eyes)....
The base is CTMH textured cardstock and DCWV blue & green cardstock with the DP from We R Memory Keepers (write out)... This image is Lily from Pink Cat Studios. I dotted white dots all around the nesties scalloped circle and I just had to add my dew drops. The flowers are from Bazzill, Prima and CTMH I added them all into one bunch... The brad in the middle of the flower and ribbon are all from my "stash".... Well that's it! :) BUT I made a card this morning using TODAY'S sketch from Mojo Monday and I will for sure post it tomorrow because I really like it..LOL! So I do get to have some ME time today...Come Monday though Cordell asked me to make 75 cupcakes for his two classes and I of course said yes! O BOY!...
