Hi Everyone!!! I have to hurry and post..The card is a Gate Fold..I used DSP from SU called Celebrations #117164 ..I absolutely Love SU's DSP! Every single pattern is my favorite :) ..The colors in the Celebrations pack are phenomenal.. I also used stamp set Crazy For Cupcakes #111618..I used Liquid applique and added some glitter before I puffed it hehe..The sentiment is from the same stamp set ..That's it for today :) See ya tomorrow..

Baja Breeze With a Touch Of Elegance..

Hi Everyone!!!! Well I gotta tell you Chiy tells me yesterday that she wants to go for a run and I'm like yay!!! because a couple of years ago both of us lost a bunch of weight and it was an awesome feeling, so she's my running buddy but she hasn't wanted to run in so long that I was stunned but excited to go, well now I'm a lot fatter and let me tell ya my legs and feet have stayed the same so it's a lot of weight to force onto them..Boy when I woke up this morning I'm looking for the ibuprofen LOL!!! But she wants to go again tonight, I'm so excited!!! I love running..I really do..so it's exciting to have my buddy back and I hope we stick with it :)

Tri fold Card

Hi Everyone!!!! ..Well yesterday I came to the decision to master decorating sugar cookies, so I went shopping, sorry for ditching you..I figure I didn't know I could make cards till I tried, so I am going to go with this full force LOL! And I also have decided that every once in awhile I will show you a recipe post but it would be with a card, since this is a card blog LOL! But I love to bake and cook (like a lot) and I thought of starting up a food blog but then as I read the ladies food blogs that I stalk, they get so much hate mail that it would not be worth it and it's a LOT of work! ..so that's what I mean every once in awhile...OK OK enough rambling..
I made this yesterday and it was just a trial run..I wasn't sure if I would like it or not.. but I do..It can be improved so please forgive the plainness of it..The idea came from Beate..she has a tutorial on her blog :) It's a Tri-Fold card..The DSP is from the Level 1 hostess set In-Color #121028..I used the stamp set that I believe is retired Birdhouse Mini..The butterfly is from Bigz die #114507 ..The only thing I made different from Beate's is that I made the inside a gift card holder..The Happy Birthday Sentiment is Birthday Wish I don't know the # ..I think that's it..OK gotta go Hubby's taking me to lunch (sushi) double yay!!! and shopping...So have a great Tuesday! BL is on tonight..

Hi Everyone!!! It's Sunday!!! Yay! ya all know what that means...In The Kitchen With David is on!!! whoo hoo!!! anyone else QVC addicts??? Tim and I have our list of what we want to buy LOL! ..So this will be a quick post because I don't want to miss any of the show LOL! and today is also my Nephews birthday party, he's 4..How fun!

A Real Oldie :)

Hi Everyone!!!! Yay it's Friday!!!! Are you all going to see that Johnny Depp movie Rango??? I think we are tomorrow, should be cute but if not at least the nachos and popcorn will be worth it.. Just sayin...So I have a funny to tell you because I am losing my marbles, so yesterday as I'm waiting to pick up Cordell from school, there's these Mexican guys who sell things out of a cart and I haven't seen them in so long..I was so excited to see that the "chip" man was across the street, so I grab some dollars but I have a problem see I'm wearing a pair of pants that have a magnetic button snap, why I bought these stupid pants I have know idea.. well because I am fat and have a Costco muffin, they won't stay snapped, so I discreetly get out of my truck stick myself back in so no one can see me zip of the zipper and snap the button closed. this whole time Rocky is looking at me (because he's my Co-Pilot) and is giving me this look of what the heck are you doing so as I finish pulling up my pants I tell him "don't judge me" and shut the door in his face and then I realize what I said to him and starting snickering and of course my snap came UN-done yep I'm not that smart..I really think it's all this new medication I am on ..sheesh! The End :)
OK so this card I made this morning and I found this old set I have had for many years, thinking it was SU but just now realizing that it says D.O.T.S on the side of the stamps LOL!! Oops!!! ..well anyway the DSP is from SU (retired) ...I used stickles on the balloon..Have a great day everyone! I should see ya tomorrow..

Birthday Marci

Hi Everyone!!! ..We brought Bear Cub home yesterday and he still has a blockage but doc felt instead of paying a $1,000.00 to retrieve whatever is in his tummy, to just wait and see if it will come out on it's own, so we are on poop duty, gross I know but necessary..and I survived my partial root canal, he only did a little bit to relieve my extreme pain, so I have more to do :( ... I wanted to make a card to relax and this is what I came up with :) ..I like how it came out...All the DP is from My Mind's Eye (Tickled Pink)..I bought this La La Land stamp a long time ago but barely inked her up, her name is Marci and she's Birthday Marci..She is very cute! I paper pieced her clothes,shoes and the bows in her hair..The ribbon is from my "stash" and the pearls are from Recollections, don't you just love the Recollections stuff that Michael's is coming out with...I totally do! ..I hope you have a great Thursday!!! I am going to bake a Carrot Cake, to make me feel better :) so I will see ya all tomorrow (Promise)

Stitch In The Ditch

Hi Everyone!! I'm sorry to ditch you but that stinky life happens and sometimes it's not all that good...Two things have happened..1st thing is my poor Bear Cub is in the hospital, he may have ate some of his toy and now he has a blockage, so he is probably going to have surgery today :(..he's been in the hospital since yesterday hooked to an I.V. ...and today I am headed to the dentist for an emergency root canal..I am in so much pain..the headaches are the worst and the painkillers I am on have me so tired that I went to bed at 8:00pm and didn't wake up till 8:00am, so I don't know who was voted off BL, so if you know please tell :) ...So I didn't want to leave you without a card for another day so I made this, this morning ..I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop..The DSP is from SU ..Sweet Stitches #121781 and the Stamp Set is Sew Suite #122009 and the PomPom Trim is Melon Mambo #123322..The flower is from Prima....have a great day

Yesterday was a baking day for me, so I didn't get to make a card till later that night and this is what I came up with :) ..It's my turn at Sunday Sketch & Stamp to create a sketch and here it is..watcha think?? I hope you join us, you will have two weeks to play..All the DSP is from SU Play Date #117168 and the image is from the set The Nicest Things #120531 ...The brads are a perfect match and they are The Brights Collection #119740 and the flowers are from Prima but the metal flowers are from SU #112577 ..I have to tell you while making this card there was a marathon of Psych on t.v and what a fun silly show :) ..does anyone else watch that show? ..I am off to watch In The Kitchen With David for 5 Hours!!!!!! And for all you on the fence about buying the Keurig they have a today's only special price and it is a AWESOME price!!!! so run to QVC.com and order it..My cheap model was that price and they offer you so much..seriously buy it... :) Have a great Sunday! Fruit Punch Wings

Hi Everyone!!!! It's Thursday wow how time flies..I made this card this morning..I'm just relaxing and having fun creating...This card was all me :) no sketch...All the DP is from S*E*I (Jolie Chocolat)..The image is from The Greeting Farm..I think she retired her out because I can't find her and I don't remember her name.. The challenge for TGF was to ink up an image you haven't used in awhile but I don't know if I'm doing this right because of the image not being available anymore..I'll go read the rules when I'm done posting but anyways I love her and won't get rid of any of my TGF stamps :) ..The butterfly punch is from Martha Stewart and the silver pearls are from Recollections ..I did Stickle her wings with Fruit Punch...I will see ya all tomorrow..off to play some more....and Diana..Cordell pulled your name out of the bucket for the 6x6 SU paper..congratulations :)

Strawberries With Mice :)

Hi Everyone!!! Thank you for the well wishes :) ..I had such a blast with Tim last night, we first went to the movies and watched.. Unknown.. Both Tim and I love the movie Taken that we wanted to support Liam Neeson but what a boring movie LOL!!! I gave it 1 out of 5 stars LOL! Tim said it wasn't that bad, he wouldn't own it but if it was on HBO he would watch it..I won't hehehe...We ate a huge dinner at Famous Dave's and yep Food Coma..It was such a wonderful day and night..I love you Timothy thank you :) ..So today I am off to get another Tattoo and I am looking forward to it but not really LOL!!! it freaking hurts, it's not like when I was younger and embraced physical pain now I go "ouch" and I have to remember my breathing exercises when I gave birth ..the funny part of this is that my tattooist has no tattoos and we asked him why? he said because they HURT!!!! true story..we couldn't stop laughing at that one :) and he looks like he's 14 but he's an award winning tattooist he gets invited to Italy and tattoos people over there...pretty darn cool...anyways this card was made awhile ago but I haven't posted it yet..It's a House Mouse image and I heat embossed over the image and added my colors over it...I like how it came out ..I hope you have a great day..See ya tomorrow

A message for My Love... Today is our Anniversary and I can't tell you how much I love you..I love you so much that I couldn't be without you..Every day that goes by I fall deeper in love with you..I want to hold you forever..When you hold me and I look up at you, you stare down at me and smile...I can't tell you how much I love that you are with me, you have me so spoiled, I'm sure there's not many men out there that would smile at them when you tell them how much money you spend on Stamping supplies and tell you how much they love your cards and when you say Oh babe there's new Nesties coming out he tells you buy whatever you want :) ...And when you say babe there's a stamping convention coming to a city near us, he says Oh let's go and I'll be the holder of ALL your packages :) ....man Tim I love you..I'm sure there's not many men out there that won't let there family hurt (financially) without doing there best to find as many jobs as it takes for his wife to be happy, I have a husband that doesn't want me to work because when he has a day off he just wants to be with me, Isn't that the coolest..I think so...I am deeply in love with you and when I see you my heart pounds and I can't stop thinking of you :) ...I love you so much Tim! and I thank you so much for spoiling me and even though I don't say it everyday I do APPRECIATE everything you do to make me happy and you're the man of my dreams every night and every morning that I wake up...I love you Timothy...
