Flower Power

Hi Everyone!!! I was able to play with Sketch Saturday..I didn't think I would do it in time but I did! ..I loved the sketch when I first looked at it last Saturday I wasn't to sure about it but then I was like hey just play and have fun, so this is my card and I am so happy with it..I used my new Oliver and Amelia stamp from The Greeting Farm..I was able to buy it when she had it on clearance for $10.00 who could turn that down! so I suggest "liking" them on FB to see if she has anymore deals because I went back to the site and yep regular price now...so I scored yay! I also used my new DP from Basic Grey (Out Of Print) ..the flower is cardboard that I covered with paper. The gems and button are all from my "stash" ..I hope you all have a fantastic day! I am practicing making Pecan Pies for Christmas and my house smells AWESOME! next is Fudge :) ..I want to be able to give out home baked goods for Christmas this year, does anyone else like to bake? if you do what do you make and give away?

With Sympathy :(

Hi Everyone!! I have to go shopping today but didn't want to leave without posting. I had these colors in mind for a mellow but fun feeling. I think it would be a great sympathy card..I really hate the new blogger ugh! it's such a stupid set up..I don't know why they need to change what isn't broken..anyways while I'm posting it's not letting me check some of my stuff so I am frustrated...this is a simple card but hopefully whomever gets it smiles and it looks so much better in person (promise) :) ..I used Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade..The ribbon is from my "stash" ..I promise to come back tomorrow with a card that has a lot of work put into it :) ..but for know I am envisioning a Panera baguette and a Fro Yo treat ..

Thank You!!! Come Again!!!

Softball...Plus A Cupcake and Coffee

Hi Everyone!!! OMG! I joined a softball team and last night was our first game and wow! I had such a good time!! who knew that it would be that much fun! :) I've never played on a team in my life so when I was up to bat I was shaking LOL! I did hit the ball the 3 times I was up, so that was pretty cool....so today I wanted to go back into my "me" mode and make a card..I used the sketch from Mojo Monday..I wanted something simple but fun and since I got an email this morning saying that all Riley stamps are 50% off till next week I thought heck I will use what I have. Coffee and a cupcake for breakfast HECK YES! that's my kind of moose ..So I will be blogging all week because I am stoked to try the new stamp set and DP that I got and haven't even taken out of the packages, so I am off to remedy that right now....On a side note what's up with the refs for the NFL wow talk about inept ..my poor Packers :( ...what a stupid call! I love Clay Matthews! he's my guy :) ...see ya tomorrow

Hi Everyone!!! Yesterday was so much fun with my class..just love crafting with them :) ...well I woke up this morning and I have to immediately check out the new sketch from The Sweet Stop and lo and behold they have a DT call, so of course I thought YES! I need to try, so wish me luck I really want it LOL! ...so I came up with this card..what do you think? I didn't have to stitch at all because the Argyle embossing folder is way to cool! I did use retired DSP but everything is SU...since I didn't get to post a Friday Funny ..here it is today :) ...Rocks sleeping while I was playing on Pinterest and of course my screen saver is him..it makes me smile every time I open my phone...have an awesome Saturday!!!!

CC Tomorrow :)

Hi Everyone!! well it looks like Blogger changed it's format again, so I hope it looks normal..if not I will play with it over the weekend :) ..Do you recognize the top two cards? you should I made them a few days ago but changed the DSP ..the bottom card I just made up..my class last month really wanted to see the Chevron pattern so I hope they like it, very simple boy/man card but the texture alone is pretty cool..everything is SU but you will see dew drops or pearls that aren't SU but I think they add something to the cards.. I hope you have a great night..I have to finish cutting and putting things together but I will see ya tomorrow because I just got a new set from The Greeting Farm to play with :)

Rubbing Ink Colors All Around :)

Hi Everyone!! This is a card I made for Card Class this Friday..It looks way better in person..I did not heat set it good enough that's why you see the smear mark on top..I did tear the bottom portion to give it more character :) ..they will be able to pick the sentiment they want I just went with a Happy Birthday :) ..so they will be heat setting, tearing and playing with ink colors to rub :) everything is SU..I hope you have a great day! :) ...

Butterflies Everywhere :)

Hi Everyone!!! I love The Sweet Stop sketches, well I tried the sketch with a spin, ya my Fall card sucked :) no joke! I had a brain fart, so I tried again and this one I am totally satisfied with but unfortunately I didn't do the spin SORRY! ...I just bought this sheet of paper at Hobby Lobby and I really couldn't wait to use it..the punch is from MS and the image is from TGF...Short post because it's really hard to watch FOOTBALL over one shoulder, so I am off to watch in front of the TV and eat some hot out of the oven chocolate chip cookies that my daughter is making ..yumm!! I will have to run extra hard tomorrow that's for sure! :) have a great Sunday!!

Picture Heavy Of Rocks and A Wreath :)

Hi Everyone!!! I am so sorry!!!! this week was so chaotic!! ugh! I'm a housewife who was never home last week..hate that! :) ..Every time I can't get into my craft room I turn into Michael Jackson in the Thriller video.. the twitching! the I'm a zombie coming after you! yep the whole sha bang! and today I was able to visit with my mom and start my Christmas gifts, very productive day..to bad I have gained about ten pounds after leaving there house :) ..but O it was so worth it! ;) ...we also went shopping at a local quilt show ..yay! I got some new goodies whoo hoo! and one thing that I bought was this new Spool pattern that I have been wanting to order FOREVER and now it's in my really dark hands (remember my mom lives in the Valley) so it was 102 degrees I'm cooked ..not Dorito cooked but a dark chocolate pie cooked :) ..so I'm yummy (just take my word for it) teehee!!! anyways because I didn't have time to craft this week I took about 1,001 pictures of Rocks with his new toy that was Eewok's but hey when your a dominant Bully you snooze you lose..because I care about who reads my blog I only posted 8, so maybe the other 993 pictures I will post at a later date ;) I hope you have a great weekend...tomorrow is FOOTBALL! whoo hoo!!! I love Fall/Winter!! Cold weather and FOOTBALL!!
Thank You!!!! Come Again!!!!
Mandy
P.S Sorry I made this tulle wreath tonight for my front door, an Ipad has no flash so the picture is cruddy but it's Fall colors. Orange, brown and green. The FOOTBALL is a little rubber one I found at the $1.00 store, Rocks wants it really bad but since I'm the dominant female he didn't get it :)

Santa Loves Rudolph :)

Hi Everyone!!! This image makes me smile so big because it reminds me of Rocks in his stroller. I'll have to show you an updated picture of our "walks" ..anyways I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop ..I wanted to use a serious DP but with a cutesy image..I used liquid applique on Santa and Rudolph's hair, it makes me laugh too because doesn't Santa's beard look a little Medusa like? LOL!! The DP is from The Paper Studio (Old World Winter) ..the flower and embellishments are all from my "stash" ..I hope you have a great day!!! guess what tonight is!? 2 FOOTBALL games whoo hoo!!! ecstatic I am (inner Yoda)..teehee

A Gift Card Box/Card :)

Hi Everyone!!! I found this tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. I really like how easy it was to make and how it's such a cool gift card holder. I did make a couple of mistakes with my measurements so you will see it kind of overlaps and some edges are bent. It really is funny that I own the Original Scor Pal- Martha Stewart Scor Board- and the SU Simply Scored and not one of them has a 3 3/8 mark that I can find LOL! I really suck at math! so I hope you get to try this and do it right :) ..I want to do a little bit more with this so you will be seeing another one this week..Everything is SU but the flower..have a great day! FOOTBALL is on my agenda! :)
