Stained Glass

Hi Everyone!!!! I wanted to show you something that is the most fun EVER in quilting..the Stained Glass technique you want to talk about relaxing and just plain fun..this is it :)..I would check out YouTube and see how easy this is to do :)...I need to take pictures of some of the work my mom has done with this technique..she even won some awards at the local fair :) .I will be back tomorrow with a card :) I'm getting ready for card class ..have a great day everyone! tonight is BL I hope it's good

Lost Weight and Heart It :)

Hi Everyone!!! I did it!!! My hard work has paid off! I started WW and working out 3 times a day starting last Monday..well I weighed in this morning and I lost 8lbs!!!! So I am on my way to having 2 chins instead of 3!!! whoo hoo!!! I have found that I actually love to work out..I may be slow or uncoordinated but it's fun :) ..anyways enough of me..I made this card last night..I am thinking it's very pretty and simple..see I hate Valentine's Day..I really do, so this card was hard for me to create LOL! but what do you think? Do you like? everything is SU :) ..I hope you all have a fantastic day! I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp

Adorable Rocks

Hi Everyone!!!! Because I have an awesome, fantastic husband who loves everything about me ;) (OK maybe not some things) :) but I do know he loves everything I make and even more so when it's for him :) ..so we went to our wonderful local quilt store Homespun Harbor (click on the highlighted link and it will take you to there website..she does ship) and he picked out this fabric that he wanted for a pillowcase ..He absolutely loves Hawaii and this screams vacation and drinks so here he goes..just for you BUTTY! I think this is pillowcase number 4 or 5 for him :) ..Love you Timothy!!!! (Like a lot) ...Have a great day everyone!!!

Feels Like Spring :)

Hi Everyone!! Here where I live it feels like Spring! it reminded me of a dragonfly, flowery kinda day, so I went with it. I was so distracted tho (I'm thinking of my workout) that I forgot to sew on my card BUMMER! but hey I'm barely back so I'll find my groove soon :) ..I used Basic Grey DP (Wisteria) and of course the girl is from TGF ..the brads and dragonfly's are from my "stash" ..I promise to give you a better card soon :) ...Have a fantastic day! Candied Jalapenos :)

Hi Everyone!!! well yesterday was the first day of my workouts, yep workouts. I'm trying to get 3 in for the day..let's see running 4 miles every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Elliptical for 5 minutes plus one extra minute a day (thank you Brandy) so today will be 6 minutes and so on :) and P90! and try to eat the right foods constantly which is hard but with WW and the food journal it makes it a little bit easier :) ..so I'm late in posting because yep I HURT! :) ...I will be back tomorrow with a card though :) ..I wanted to show you what Tim and I did together a couple of months ago ..We canned!!! wow it was kinda hard because we didn't have the proper tools..sheesh lesson learned but we had fun doing it..These little babies are Candied Jalapenos..I will share the link on how to make them..COWBOY CANDY....the only thing I would do different is add in way more heat because these little babies have the SWEET down and just a hint of heat..they are good on Hot Dogs but not on Hamburgers :) ..I hope you try it out for yourself ...Have an awesome night and can you believe the next BL is on tonight!!! sheesh!

1st Quilt Of The Year :)

Happy New Year!!!

Hi Everyone!!!.I have missed creating and blogging!!!!! Chiy went back home yesterday..I had such a blast with her this holiday season but now the fun ends..Tomorrow starts my training, in May Tim and I will be doing a Mud Run..it will have 11 obstacles and it's a 5K..O I'm excited! we will be starting WW again (love Weight Watchers) it does work :) and I can still have my candy and my carbs :)..I just bought an elliptical, so that should be fun too :) lots of new stuff happening this year..I hope for you too..I will be back on schedule now that everything is over and I hope to see you along with me :) I will be offering different things this year from projects to crafts and food..I'll throw in a WW recipe every once in awhile not all the time I promise :) ..but just to change it up a bit and show you I can do more lol! ..I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year!!! Happy Birthday Dude!

Hi Everyone!!! I have missed blogging but my daughter has been back with us since Thanksgiving and we have been enjoying our time as a family, so I might be scarce for a little while..I have been having a blast with my kids and hubby that taking time away from them will not happen..We watch Christmas movies each night as a family and Chiy and I have been baking, Cordell has been the taste tester :) ...so I hope you all are enjoying your time together..don't you feel like Nov and Dec came so quick!? sheesh! I blinked and now it's Christmas time! so anyways I miss blogging but my daughter will be moving back the 29Th and starting college in Jan. I am going to soak up every minute with my kids and wonderful husband, so please forgive me :) ...BUT I will tell you I have a wonderful picture of Rocks coming soon..might even have to show you before Friday..it's awesome (has to do with a costume) :o) (tis the season) hehehe I made this card while watching FOOTBALL last night :) ...I was in a Owl mood..I absolutely adore the owl charm..make sure click on the picture to see it better ...I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp..I hope you have a fabulous day!
