Lots Of Pink :)

Hi Everyone!! I was able to play this morning/afternoon. I love how girly this card came out. The DP is from Basic Grey..like I said last week I haven't bought new stuff in a long time so this is Sugar Rush...the image is from The Greeting Farm..and of course the ribbon, charm and gems are from my "stash" ...I will be back tomorrow with a card for my DT work with Sunday Sketch & Stamp..Have a great Saturday!

My Lilo And Stitch Tattoo :)

Hi Everyone!!! I decided to finally show you my tattoos...I have an absolute love affair with cupcakes, they totally make me happy, they have for many years not just when Cupcake Wars came out :)..When I started to get my sleeve done I knew I wanted cupcakes and Disney...So I picked my favorite Disney movies and this of course is one of them. My family and I love this movie! I also knew that I wanted all my wrappers to incorporate the clothes of all the girls I chose and if you look closely you will see Lilo's dress :)..I also chose to have one item that means a lot to the girls on or next to my tattoo and of course you see Scrump :) ..Also the cupcake frosting is the color of my girls hair. I have the best tattoo artist around! and I can't wait to show you the rest over time :)...I love ALL my tattoos that he has made come to life just by me telling him what my vision is :)

Reading Is Such JOY!

Hi Everyone!!! Today I came home and had in mind to make a bookmark. Well lo and behold I had a giant chipboard shaped bookmark already in place. So I added some really pretty DP from My Mind's Eye (Home)..a flower I had in my "stash" and this sweet image from The Greeting Farm. I finished it off with a button and metal embellishment sentiment that says Joy..There's nothing better then reading a book :) Isn't the rainbow ribbon pretty! love it :) I hope you all have a great Wednesday ..

The Reality Of A Craft Desk

Hi Everyone!!! Well like my title says this is my reality when I craft every single day! I always start out clean and by the time I'm done I am working in a 6x6 size space in from of me. I am so dreading cleaning this up but I need to because I keep losing my little pieces LOL! I wasn't brave enough to show you my complete room because yep a bomb blew up in the whole room not just my desk..thank gosh my house doesn't look like this but for some reason my sewing room is headed this way too :) ..Tim's constantly laughing at me but O well I don't think I will ever be a clean crafter or shhh baker! at least I can be grateful that my hair is always pulled back or else I would have the Einstein look while making cards/sewing :0)...So to the card. This card is for card class and I had fun tearing out a page in the old idea book and integrating onto the front it's the flower looking thing LOL! I can't remember what it's called ..With the Cupcake we will be able to use the Cherry smelling embossing powder and O ya it smells delicious! I did add on all the edges bleach but I'm not sure I like it after all so that might be nixed...But I like the fun color combo and it makes me feel good, so hopefully they will leave happy with this one :) ...Have an awesome Tuesday!

Embossed And Elegant

Hi Everyone!!! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend :) I absolutely did! After making this card I realized that I love Cherry Cobbler with Basic Black..this color combo does something for me :) It just screams elegant ..I did emboss the cardstock and after stamping the bird I embossed over it, it's hard to see in the picture but I love it :) ...On the left hand corner are grommets and on the side of the bird are brads.. I haven't decided if I like this enough for class, so decisions decisions :) ..I hope you have a great day!

Hi Everyone!!! I haven't done a sketch challenge in so long and within two days I have done two! I forgot how fun they are! this sketch is from Sketch Saturday..Don't mind the shadow it's my big body in the way..I went outside and found out right away that it's hot and I don't do outside and hot I'm allergic..I think if there were vampires I would make a great one! I like to bite ;) I avoid the sun. The only down side I can see is that food is out of the question and apparently I'm a foodoholic the size of my clothes say so. So a world without sushi, pizza, hamburgers and a whole cheesecake is so not happening, so please forgive the shadow on my picture as Summer approaches there may be more (and now you know why) :)..I will see ya all tomorrow!

Still Here and Still Apart Of A DT! yay!

Hi Everyone!!! I'm still here but we are getting closer to my son graduating so it's been busy! I am doing nothing this weekend but crafting! so I promise to have a post everyday starting tomorrow! I made this card for my card class but also it's a sketch from a design team that I'm still apart of which is so cool! so go check out the blog and play along Sunday Sketch & Stamp..everything is SU ..I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to order new product from the new catalog that's coming out next month ..so sad but hopefully I will make up for that soon :) ...Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me! Mud Run...Time Of My Life! Hollister CA!

Hi Everyone!!! Tim and I had the time of our lives!!!! I slept for 14 hours (no joke) when we got home! 5K 11 obstacles and I did every single one!!!!! I LOVE YOU TIMOTHY!!!! and I'm glad you were with me as always by my side! so fun everyone!!! :)

Gift Bag Purse and THE AVENGERS!!!!

Hi Everyone!! yesterday was a busy day at my sons school so I didn't have time to make a card but instead throughout the day I made this ..a cute purse! it's so tiny that I will put some tissue paper inside with some candy and a gift card! I was going to give it away but since that's what you can do with it I'm keeping it :) ...I love the fabric :) junk food paradise ...OK so who else is excited for THE AVENGERS!!!! I am!!! and tomorrow Tim and I will be participating in our local 1st annual Mud Run it's called the Ranch Romp in Hollister CA ..there will be pictures posted probably during the week...I hope to be back Sunday with a picture of Tim and I! :) so double yay! have a great Friday/ Saturday see ya all soon!!!

Dog Food Bag Tutorial ..(Go Green) :)

Hi Everyone!!! Well I think this is my first tutorial :) and it's hard! LOL! and it doesn't help that this bag is shiny and slick! so some of my sewing lines aren't all that straight ugh! ..I am not very savvy when it comes to putting words onto my pictures or on knowing how to get my words in between the pictures without messing up everything..so sorry bear with me...OK first thing your going to do is: 1. make your top even and pretty...2. cut out your handles I cut mine at 2 1/2...3. cut off the tipy top and now you will have a long strip.. 4. Fold handles in half. I did not do these in a traditional handle way..I just folded in half but you can do it either way, now just put it aside... 5. take your bag now and fold down the top to the size you want, sew around the whole bag, that will make it adhere and stabilize it.. 6. measure your handles to the spot you want, do you want them long or short and how far apart to you want them, when you decide pin in place and mark.. 7. sew on all four edges and criss cross in the middle, this will hopefully make the bag sturdy when you put it on your shoulder...Once your done adhering all your handles, you should be done! so take lots of pictures and be proud that you did it :) ..Please let me know if you have any questions and I can try to help :)..take care everyone!
